Exit Poll Data From Linda McMahon's Senate Run
Based on exit-poll data, Connecticut voters felt 40% to 11% that Linda McMahon's relationship with WWE made them less likely to vote for her. Almost 70% of voters said they believe she "unfairly attacked" her opponent Richard Blumenthal.
Male voters supported Blumenthal 52% to 45% while female voters also supported Blumenthal, 60% to 39%. Linda won with white male voters, 50% to 48%. Blumenthal won with white female voters, 56% to 43%.
The only age demographic that Linda won with was voters over the age of 65 years old, with 52% to 46%. Linda failed to reach the younger and middle-aged voters.

What's Next for Linda McMahon?
Linda McMahon says she will not be returning to her old post as the CEO of WWE following her U.S. Senate defeat in Connecticut on Tuesday.
McMahon, who was replaced by Vince McMahon
as WWE CEO, has told reporters that she would consider running for Senate again in a future election.
In the interim, she plans to "work with" with new government officials in Connecticut. She hinted at that during her concession speech last night when she vowed to work with Richard Blumenthal, who defeated her for the Senate seat.
McMahon was also asked if she would change anything about her campaign. She reportedly she "would not have run the campaign any differently."

NBC Projects McMahon Loss, Controversy Brewing Over Polling Places Staying Open
NBC News has also projected Linda McMahon to lose against Richard Blumental. However, the Hartford Courant is reporting that a judge is ruling that twelve of Bridgeport's twenty-five polling places must stay open an extra two hours due to a ballot shortage. The Democratic Party sued for the result. Republicans plan to challenge any ballots cast after 8 PM ET.
"There's no way of knowing if people were turned away or just saw on television that people could vote past 8 p.m.," said Kevin O'Connor, a lawyer at the hearing. "Depending on the outcome of the election, every one of those ballots will be challenged as being an illegal vote."

Dirk Hayhurst Speaks on Outing Triple H
Dirk Hayhurst spoke at the Hall of Fame Luncheon Club at Tozzi’s on 12th on Monday about his career threatening injury, his book "The Bullpen Gospels", and outing Triple H's recent surgery on twitter:
“Alabama is the poster state of blowing crap up and absolute redneckery,” Hayhurst joked. “It’s jacked-up trucks and good ol’ boys in overalls.
“... In Alabama (professional), wrestling is king.”
It was the place where one bad wrestler by the name of Triple H also was a patient of renowned surgeon Dr. James Andrews. “He’s a monster of man, huge, huge muscles,” Hayhurst said. “And he’s like a villain wrestler.”
Hayhurst hatched a plan to get Triple H to endorse “The Bullpen Gospels.” Soon after Triple H came out of surgery, Hayhurst asked the wrestler to read the book and recommend it. When Triple H gave a muffled response, Hayhurst said, “and I’ll take that as a you loved it.”
Hayhurst went to his hotel and fired out posts of Triple H’s love for the book onto the Internet. Within an hour, he said, he was being threatened to be sued. The WWF’s Vince McMahon — Triple H’s father-in-law — was after him.
Other wrestlers were “going to show up and kill me,” Hayhurst said. “These were people in masks, flexing with a mask on, Confederate flag in the background. I’m seriously worried for my life.”
Long story short, Triple H hears about it. A meeting in the clinic between Hayhurst and Triple H — with plenty of people present — is set up.
The joke is Hayhurst didn’t know it’s a joke.
“I come in late ... and I hear, ‘Hayhurst, you think you can just wreck my career?’ ” said Hayhurst. “He knocks aside a table, he comes at me. Then he says, ‘Dude, I don’t care. I run around with my shirt off in my underwear ... Seriously, you think I care what you write on the Internet?’
“Meanwhile, there’s a puddle forming at my feet ... ”
He said Triple H shares his philosophy that a person must separate his work character from who they are...More?

WWE Hit By Dual Injury Blow
CM Punk will be out of action for at least three months in order to undergo surgery on his damaged hip, while Taker may also need to go under the knife because of a shoulder problem.
WWE bosses are keen for both to take as much time off as they need now, so they're fit to return for WrestleMania 27 on April 3.
Punk was set for a feud with his fellow former Ring Of Honor darling Daniel Bryan, while Undertaker was battling his on-screen brother Kane. Both are now on hold.
In better news for the WWE, Triple H appeared at a recent WWE house show as he moves closer to a return from his own injuries.

McMahon Film Crew Halted at Polls
It was a normal day of voting in Weston until Republican U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMachon arrived with her entourage to document the final day of her bid for senator against the Democrat, Richard Blumenthal.
According to Weston's poll moderator and Republican chairman, Glenn Major, McMahon's film crew arrived and attempted to document McMahon's daughter Stephanie and son-in-law Paul Levesque (who wrestles for WWE as Triple H) cast their ballots. "[McMahon] is not a registered voter in Weston, so she's not allowed in," Major said.
When the film crew arrived, Major asked them if they were press or if they were staff. "They were staff," he said. "I don't think they perceived themselves as campaigners. I don't think they were trying to do anything but chronicle [the day]."
McMahon also breached the 75-foot barrier that candidates must maintain from polling locations, Major said, although she quickly moved to a legally acceptable distance.
"Linda made an error, she truly made an error," Major said. "But she left immediately, so it's no harm no foul."...More?
