Killer Kowalski & Gorilla Monsoon defeat Skull Murphy & Brute Bernard to win the United States (WWWF version) tag team championship.

WWF held the Survivor Series in Detroit, Michigan at the Joe Louis Arena. WWF faced a lot of criticism for running an angle on the PPV where Steve Austin was hit by a car, resulting in him being unable to wrestle in the main event against Triple H and The Rock. WWF knew in advance that the injured Austin would be unable to wrestle, but waited until after the PPV began (and fans had already purchased the event) before running the angle and creating a storyline reason for his absence. Big Show (subbing for Steve Austin) defeated Triple H and The Rock in a Triple Threat match to win the WWF World Title.

Sean Waltman Comments on Chyna, Triple H & Stephanie
From Monday Night Mayhem DVD Review: "YouShoot: Sean Waltman":
How did the Chyna/Triple H/Stephanie McMahon love triangle come about?
Waltman used to ride with Chyna & HHH until their arguments made him uncomfortable. The typically reserved Triple H started referring to the psychotic nature of Chyna, which eventually led him to Steph. Pac feels that HHH is the perfect guy for Stepanie & the McMahon family, since he has a relatively spotless past and doesn't have any emotional baggage or drug problems.

Remembering Eddie Guerrero
An autopsy revealed that Guerrero died as a result of acute heart failure, caused by undiagnosed arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Although Guerrero had not taken alcohol or illicit drugs for nearly four years, his past excesses contributed to his heart failure.

SmackDown Results: One Good Burn Deserves Another
In a major clash of SmackDown's titans, Big Show ultimately reigned supreme over World Heavyweight Champion Kane, thanks in part to the maniacal actions of Edge.
Prior to the match, Kane could not find Paul Bearer. He did, however, find his father’s mystical urn and definite signs of a struggle.
When it looked as if The Big Red Monster was about to chokeslam his gigantic adversary for the victory, Edge emerged with Paul Bearer in tow, tied to a wheelchair, hysterical with fear. As The Master Manipulator threatened to push “The Father of Destruction” off the top of the ramp, The World’s Largest Athlete used the distraction to chokeslam his horrific opponent for the win. Full results.

Interview with Triple H
Triple H was on the radio in Atlanta this morning to promote tomorrow's WrestleMania ticket sale. Here are some highlights from the piece.
He was asked if he would miss WrestleMania and he said no. He said he was rehabbing his injured biceps and is close to coming back. He said he wrestled on short notice at the 10/30 Fan Appreciation Show in Hartford, CT because Rey Mysterio couldn't.
He was asked who the Raw GM was and he said that he didn't know. In a kidding way, he said it couldn't be him because he isn't friends with Michael Cole and the GM is.
He was asked where he works out when he is not on the road. He said he removed the home theater room in his house and made it similar to a a commercial gym. He said he and wife Stephanie work out there.
He was asked about a story (which I did not hear) stating that Stephanie showed up to vote for her mother on election day and was told she wasn't registered and couldn't. He said that was totally untrue. He said that they did initially go to the wrong polling place but that the story wasn't true. I have no idea where that one got started. Stephanie is too smart to ever let that happen.
He was asked about how he could use the sledgehammer and not hurt people. He said that he is pretty good at it and said that the only time he ever used a prop was the time that he split someone open, so he uses a real one.
About his new role as a senior adviser to Vince he said that guys are starting to get comfortable with him in the role because they have known him for years and realize he understands them and can help convey their concerns.
The host suggested having Abdullah The Butcher into the WWE Hall of Fame and he said that he proposed it himself last week.
