SmackDown Results: Flame War
To celebrate earning a match at WrestleMania – where he will challenge the World Heavyweight Champion – Alberto Del Rio drove into the arena in a 2010 BMW M6 convertible. To kick the party off, Del Rio invited Hornswoggle to whack a piñata with a wooden stick. But when plans went awry and the Mexican aristocrat ended up on the receiving end of Hornswoggle’s swing, Del Rio assaulted him with no remorse. Next, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston came to Hornswoggle’s aid, but the champion ended up receiving a brutal beating with the piñata stick and a session in Del Rio’s devastating cross armbreaker. The No. 1 contender showed no mercy, requiring WWE officials to free Kingston from his hold. Full results.

Details on New "DX: One Last Stand" DVD
WWE will be releasing a new DX DVD titled "DX: One Last Stand" on April 5, 2011. Here is a description of the release along with scheduled matches to be featured courtesy of Amazon.com:
"They are perhaps the most influential duo in sports entertainment with crazy antics outside the ring backed up with dominant performances inside. Both Shawn Michaels and Triple H were highly successful on their own, but when they came together as D-Generation X, they were nearly unstoppable. Now fans can relive their final run as a team from late 2009 and 2010."...More?
Kevin Nash Comments on Why Triple H Didn't Work the Rumble
“Paul had no desire at that point [to get in the ring]. He is working in the office and walking around with a clipboard. Vince and Steph feel the company needs his mind more than his body right now. Whenever he comes back though, it’s a game changer. When I found out he [HHH] wasn’t working, I asked if it was the buddy system [not wanting to steal pop from Booker or Nash] and that’s how I took it”.

Dixie Carter Admits Moving TNA iMPACT! to Monday Nights Was a Mistake
From Dixie Carter's Q&A on tnawrestling.com:
Question: What has been the biggest mistake you've made so far running TNA? I know the list is long but narrow it to 1 if possible.
Dixie Carter: The move to Monday nights. We have a loyal audience on Thursdays and that move proved that. Even the ratings of the Thursday replay (which did not force viewers to watch on Monday), were as high or higher than the debut telecast.
WWE Superstars Results: Search and Destroy
Curt Hawkins should have known better. The aggressive, young SmackDown Superstar was so intent on putting JTG & Trent Barreta in their place that he enlisted the services of The Dreadlocked Demolition Man to assist him tonight. It seemed like a smart move at first as Reks decimated the competition, allowing Hawkins to score with an elbow drop from the top rope for the victory. The match didn’t end there, however. Reks, still hungry for blood, attacked his partner and smashed him in the center of the ring with a vicious Burning Hammer. The act proved that Reks is one of the most dangerous and unpredictable men in the SmackDown locker-room.

Julian Shaw Interviews Triple H
My conversation with the wrestler-come-booker who will inherit Vince McMahon’s empire will run in an upcoming issue of FILM INK magazine, so you’ll have to wait till then to get the full story. When you’re a lifelong WWE fan chatting to a guy who’s been in the business for decades the conversation will inevitably stray just a little towards the hard stuff though… So here are a couple of interesting titbits from our chat which I know won’t make the final cut of the article:
Triple H has recently taken on the behind-the-scenes role of Senior Adviser to Vince McMahon. Here is Trips on the prospect of inheriting the business, and how it has changed his outlook…
I think anybody is going to grow as they go into a different position. I’ve always been involved behind the scenes to some degree, even before I became close with Steph (*Triple H is the real-life husband of McMahon’s daughter Stephanie, with whom he shares three daughters). I’ve always looked at the business different to how a lot of talent does. I think that word says it all – it’s a business. A lot of the wrestler’s just see it in terms of their performance and that is the sole focus. For me it’s just seeing the big picture. And how much every department effects every other department. I once looked purely at the creative side and the stories and now I see the marketing side and how that locks into the creative side. It’s fascinating to cross the line – it’s a big learning curve. Of course I’d never seen that other side in such detail until recently.
On inducting Shawn Michaels into the 2011 Hall Of Fame…
If he asks me and if he would desire that then I would be absolutely thrilled. He is probably the greatest performer in the history of the business. It’s up to Shawn, but I am ready and waiting…
While playing ‘Word Association’ the name ‘Stephanie’ came up…
That’s so easy Julian – the love of my life...More?
