Hulk Hogan Apologizes for an Insensitive Comment Made at the iMPACT! Taping

TNA star Hulk Hogan issued an apology on Twitter for using the term "tsunami" during a promo at Monday's Impact taping. "The tsunami of wrestling wasn't cool," Hogan wrote regarding the term he used.

"It will never air. It's already cut out, but when you're cutting promos old school and not following a script like other robots with no skills, sometimes you make mistakes. I'm sorry, I was on a roll and made a mistake. Nothing but love and total respect for Japan, but you guys already know that. I totally apologize."

Former Knockout Files Claim Against TNA; Contract Not Renewed

Former TNA Knockout Daffney via Twitter:

"Yesterday my picture was taken down off of the TNA roster page. My contract expires today and TNA did not renew it. I do not know if it has anything to do with it, but I've filed a Workers Comp claim against them for injuries I've sustained in the ring and my lawyers said to not go into anymore details."

More Details on Jeff Hardy/Victory Road Incident

In a follow up from the incident at Sunday's TNA Victory Road PPV, Jason Powell of Prowrestling.net is reporting that when Eric Bischoff entered the ring to change the stipulation of Sting vs. Jeff Hardy, he called an audible. Bischoff could be clearly seen saying things to both Hardy and Sting after taking breaks from speaking on the microphone. According to TNA sources, Hardy had to be "held up" as he was brought from outside the building to the gorilla position. Once TNA management saw the condition he was in just moments before the main event, a call was made to change all plans. Hardy was noticeably stumbling on his way to the ring during his entrance and looked "out of it" according to one person who emailed Wrestleview.com that attended the show live. As reported on Monday, Hardy was sent home by TNA from the Impact TV tapings this week in Orlando.

WrestleMania XXVII Preview: John Morrison, Trish Stratus & Snooki vs. Dolph Ziggler & Lay-Cool

Break out the pickles, slather on the suntan lotion and get ready to pump those fists, WWE Universe: Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is going to WrestleMania. The reality television icon, New York Times best-selling author and Rolling Stone cover girl will join John Morrison & legendary Diva Trish Stratus to battle Dolph Ziggler & Lay-Cool in an explosive Six-Person Tag Team Match...More?

Jim Ross Makes an Appearance on Raw

In a repulsive effort to discredit his WrestleMania opponent, Jerry “The King” Lawler, the Raw announcer brought out Lawler’s son, Brian Christopher, to confront him. A former WWE Superstar, Christopher (also known as Grandmaster Sexay) accused his father of being absent from his life growing up and proclaimed that he was the bigger Superstar of the two.

Coming to Lawler’s defense was his former announce partner, Jim Ross. As Good Ol’ J.R. ratcheted up the rhetoric, Cole's trainer, Jack Swagger, attacked. He then slapped an ankle lock on the WWE Hall of Famer before relenting and imploring Cole to slap an ankle lock on Ross himself.

Steve Austin Comments on Retirement

“I’m close enough — I’m as close as I want to be and can get to it right now by being the host and watching Bill (DeMott) and Booker and Trish (Stratus) put them ('Tough Enough' contestants) through their paces .. The days of lighting up 20,000 people every single night of the week, no matter what day it was, and 90,000 on a big show like WrestleMania, that was a blast, but those days are over, and I’ve had some great times in this ring. And when I think back, I’ve got a lot of great memories, and this is about as close as I want to be.”
