WWE Star Kevin Nash Cleared After Battery Arrest
WWE legend Kevin Nash is in the clear ... TMZ has learned -- after cops arrested him in Florida recently for allegedly laying the smackdown on some drunk guy ... for hitting on his wife. According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Big Sexy and his lady were leaving a restaurant after dinner, when a man approached Nash's wife and began chatting her up. According to the report, Nash's wife told the guy to buzz off ... but he got aggressive -- so Nash stepped in and dropped him. Nash held the man down until police arrived -- but in a cruel twist of fate, he ended up getting arrested himself on suspicion of battery, a charge that was eventually dropped due to lack of evidence. Nash tells TMZ, he never should have been arrested -- and if he wanted to sue, he'd have a good case in court, adding, "I'm a 52-year-old fake fighter. My hands aren't deadly weapons."

Rumor Mill - WWE Considering New Approach to WWE Magazine
The Wrestling Observer is reporting in an effort to cut costs, WWE is considering making the WWE Magazine an online-only publication. It's being said that over the past few years, the WWE Magazine has broken even financially, and the only reason why it's not losing money is because of the consistent increase in issue price.
As a result, WWE is considering a switch to an online format, which would see the monthly magazine pulled from newsstands and made available for download.
Rumor Mill - John Cena Battling Neck and Hip Issues
WWE Champion John Cena is said to be battling "persistent neck and hip issues" in addition to elbow problems recently and has been described as being more beaten up than he is letting on reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Cody Rhodes Explains Why He Doessn't Use Twitter
SmackDown Superstar Cody Rhodes explained in an interview with WWE Magazine why he does not use the social networking site Twitter:
"I don't want to give followers or adversaries insight into who I am. I'm thinking of having my next T-shirt read, "Cody Rhodes" on the front and, "Not On The Internet" on the back. I think Twitter is ridiculous," Rhodes said.
"If you have time to Tweet about what you're eating, I don't think you're working hard enough. I may be a workaholic—and I know I've been accused of that before—but I can't see myself Tweeting to members of the WWE Universe about how I wanted my eggs over easy and they came scrambled instead. I'll go on the record: The day Tom Hanks gets a Twitter account is the day I'll get a Twitter account."
The magazine editor then notes that Tom Hanks does have a Twitter account.
Lucky Cannon Arrested Earlier This Year For Impersonating A Police Officer
WWE NXT Redemption contestant Lucky Cannon (real name Jonathan Emminger) was arrested earlier this year in Florida for impersonating a police officer.
Emminger, 27, was arrested on the morning of February 28, 2011 in Hillsbourgh, Florida and charged with falsely personating a law enforcement official. He was booked into the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 11:26 a.m. and subsequently released on $2,000 bail.
Emminger previously worked as a deputy sheriff for the Pinellas County Sheriff's Department in Pinellas County, Florida, which could explain how he was able portray himself as a member of police.
This information is coming out now because his mug shot was recently cataloged on Google Images, the most comprehensive image search on the web.

Steve Austin walked out of a Raw taping in Atlanta and did not appear on the show. Without clearing it with anyone in management, he booked a ticket home for himself and wife Debra and left Atlanta after working the Raw house shows the previous weekend. Originally, he was scheduled to face Brock Lesnar on the show. Apparently, no one in WWE management communicated with Austin as to what he was going to do on Raw until Jim Ross called him the day before and told him. Austin then chose to walk out and go home, feeling that him losing to Lesnar with no prior buildup between the two didn't make sense from a business perspective. Due to Austin's leaving, the whole show had to be rewritten since it was to have focused on Austin beating Ric Flair the previous week and having Flair become his assistant. Austin's absence caused major rewrites and a totally new direction on the show. WWE changed things up and booked a Vince McMahon vs. Ric Flair match on the spot where Vince McMahon "won control" of Raw and Smackdown. Vince had no plans on wrestling before arriving at the show to find out that Austin was gone. It also put Flair in the confusing position of being a heel to Austin one week and a face to Vince the next. WWE later released a statement on Austin's leaving, saying "On Monday, June 10, 2002, Stone Cold Steve Austin again failed to appear for the scheduled Raw event in Atlanta, instead choosing to return home to San Antonio without notice and without company approval." The story went on to say that they understand that Austin wasn't happy with his character's direction, but what he did was unprofessional. They finished with this line: "Therefore, Stone Cold Steve Austin is no longer an active member of WWE's talent roster." He would return to the company by the end of the year.

Update on Shane McMahon's Company: YOU on Demand
Fidelity Just Bought a Huge Stake in This Chinese Penny Stock and Maybe "YOU" Should Too
At StreetInsider.com we rarely write about penny stocks, let alone ones that operate in China. However today one "penny" and "China" stock grabbed our attention after mutual fund-giant Fidelity, in a 13G filing with the SEC, disclosed a massive new stake.
The company in question is YOU On Demand Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: CBBD), which dubs itself "the first national Pay-Per-View and Video On Demand platform in China."
Fidelity's FIL Investment Management (Hong Kong) Limited bought 73,440,972 shares at $0.09 per share in a recent private placement. The position puts Fidelity’s stake at 11.11% of the shares outstanding, or 9.4% including dilution from the offering.
Commenting on the investment earlier this week, YOU On Demand CEO Shane McMahon said, "Fidelity's interest and involvement in YOU On Demand is a testament to the strength of our business and growth plan."
As part of the investment, Fidelity made the company sign a securities purchase agreement which limits the company from selling additional common stock for the next six months. In addition, Fidelity is requiring the company file an application to be listed on any of the NASDAQ Global Select Market, the NASDAQ Global Market, the NASDAQ Capital Market or other national securities exchange acceptable to Fidelity. Fidelity also made CEO McMahon and senior executive Weicheng Liu sign lock-up agreements which will ban them from selling or transfering shares for one year.
The funds raised in the offering will allow the company to execute a previously proposed strategy. YOU On Demand said it has secured strategic partnerships with the largest media entities in China.
YOU On Demand is not without risk however: the company had just $1.7 million in revenue in the three months ended March 31, 2011 and reported a loss of $2.72 million during that time. The stock was also brought to the market through a reverse merger, a type of investment the SEC just warned about yesterday.
While risks are glaring, a first-mover advantage in the Chinese pay-per-view market could make YOU On Demand a stock to watch for years to come.

E3 2011: Alberto Del Rio talks 'WWE 12'
Unbelievable that for so many years, Del Rio actually hid his face in favor of a wrestling mask, but as the superstar explains, it was all about tradition.
"When you wrestle in Mexico, the mask is everything," Del Rio tells me as talk behind the scenes of E3, backstage at THQ's swank booth. "The most important match in Mexican culture, in Mexican wrestling is Mask vs. Mask. That's the reason I wore the mask for years, and of course, because of my father and grandfather. But at this moment, I feel totally comfortable without my mask and with Alberto Del Rio.
"When I came to WWE, they told they wanted to use me without the mask, but I didn't care because I just wanted to work. They told me all of their ideas about Alberto Del Rio, and I loved the character right from the beginning. I was a baby face my entire life, but I'm a heel here in the States and I'm loving it. I don't want to be a baby face ever again. The bad guy is the one who controls the match. The bad guy is the one who makes the crowd cry, laugh, scream, whatever. It's fun."...More?
