Road Warrior Animal Has Magazine Clarify His WWE Drug Policy Views
It was reported last month that WWE Hall of Famer Road Warrior Animal was removed as the guest host of a slate of recent RAW live events due to WWE's belief that he was critical of their drug testing policy in a recently published interview with Power Slam magazine.
An article was published online pertaining to his comments regarding WWE's Wellness Policy. The multi-time tag team champion stated during a subsequent interview with Minneapolis based sports radio station KFAN Sports Radio AM 1130 that his remarks were taken out of context by the writer of the online article (originally published on this website by me). He also contacted Power Slam to publish a clarification regarding his views on WWE's drug testing policy.
"My true feelings are that it is one of the most stringent drug testing policies in all of pro sports, and there's no way that any athlete can beat it," Animal says in the latest issue of Power Slam. "I was in no way slamming WWE, who gave me a great induction into the Hall of Fame. I support WWE's Wellness policy and all of the other things they do for all their athletes."
WWE Releases Carver & Novak
WWE released Michael Tarver and Jacob Novak over the weekend, PWInsider.com has confirmed. Tarver was on the original cast of NXT and was a founding member of the Nexus. After he was dropped from the group, he was brought back for several appearances that saw him standing in the back as the beginning of a re-introduction that never fully happened.
Jacob Novak was part of the most recent cast of NXT, including a mini-feud with William Regal, before being eliminated first from the season.

WWE Star Kevin Nash Cleared After Battery Arrest
WWE legend Kevin Nash is in the clear ... TMZ has learned -- after cops arrested him in Florida recently for allegedly laying the smackdown on some drunk guy ... for hitting on his wife. According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Big Sexy and his lady were leaving a restaurant after dinner, when a man approached Nash's wife and began chatting her up. According to the report, Nash's wife told the guy to buzz off ... but he got aggressive -- so Nash stepped in and dropped him. Nash held the man down until police arrived -- but in a cruel twist of fate, he ended up getting arrested himself on suspicion of battery, a charge that was eventually dropped due to lack of evidence. Nash tells TMZ, he never should have been arrested -- and if he wanted to sue, he'd have a good case in court, adding, "I'm a 52-year-old fake fighter. My hands aren't deadly weapons."

Rumor Mill - WWE Considering New Approach to WWE Magazine
The Wrestling Observer is reporting in an effort to cut costs, WWE is considering making the WWE Magazine an online-only publication. It's being said that over the past few years, the WWE Magazine has broken even financially, and the only reason why it's not losing money is because of the consistent increase in issue price.
As a result, WWE is considering a switch to an online format, which would see the monthly magazine pulled from newsstands and made available for download.

Cody Rhodes Explains Why He Doessn't Use Twitter
SmackDown Superstar Cody Rhodes explained in an interview with WWE Magazine why he does not use the social networking site Twitter:
"I don't want to give followers or adversaries insight into who I am. I'm thinking of having my next T-shirt read, "Cody Rhodes" on the front and, "Not On The Internet" on the back. I think Twitter is ridiculous," Rhodes said.
"If you have time to Tweet about what you're eating, I don't think you're working hard enough. I may be a workaholic—and I know I've been accused of that before—but I can't see myself Tweeting to members of the WWE Universe about how I wanted my eggs over easy and they came scrambled instead. I'll go on the record: The day Tom Hanks gets a Twitter account is the day I'll get a Twitter account."
The magazine editor then notes that Tom Hanks does have a Twitter account.
