Rumor Mill - Freddie Prinze, Jr. Leaving WWE

WrestleZone.com is reporting that Freddie Prinze Jr. was saying goodbye to many people backstage at the WWE Smackdown tapings tonight, and has made the decision to leave the company now that his contract has expired.

"Freddie just didn't feel like the writing team is in a position to really contribute anymore," a WWE superstar told WrestleZone this evening. "He loves the business, and will probably never have a bad word to say about Vince or Stephanie or even Triple H, but there is growing frustration among the writers because they feel like they're only taking dictation now, and then Vince micro-analyzes every word on every written problem, which just chokes everyone's creativity."

Prinze was reportedly saying quiet goodbyes to several wrestlers tonight. It is believed tonight could have been his last night with the company, but that has not yet been confirmed.

Top 25 WWE Managers

#19 Stephanie McMahon: Watching the transformation of Stephanie McMahon from an innocent daddy’s girl to a vindictive billionaire princess was a captivating experience for the WWE Universe. Immature at first, Stephanie was naïve enough to get kidnapped by The Undertaker and fall madly in love with a Superstar named Test. But when she entered into a relationship with Triple H in 1999, she became a totally different person — a guiltless witch who once slapped her own mother across the face. As a manager, Stephanie was always more of a puppet master than an advisor, using Superstars like Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle to carry out her own twisted revenge plots, but her onscreen evolution speaks for itself

Zack Ryder Comments on the Origins of his YouTube Show, WWE's Reaction, More

WWE wrestler Zack Ryder talked about the origins of his weekly YouTube show and feeling like he has nothing to lose by trying to promote himself in an interview with Alfonso Castillo of Newsday promoting Monday's Raw from Long Island, N.Y.

"At first, I was afraid," Ryder said when asked if he thought he would catch heat from WWE management for the show. "I thought, ‘Am I going to get in trouble?’ But I’m not trying to cause any problems. I just want to get my name out there and create my own opportunity, and make some money for the company and for myself... As far as I know, I haven’t been punished.

"But, before I started the YouTube show, I was at the bottom of the card - the bottom. How much worse of a position could I have dropped to, you know? So it had to go up. That was my mindset. I was just sick of being at the bottom, knowing I could be so much more. It was all or nothing, basically.”

HBK's New TV Show Announced

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels spent the week hunting bear in the wilds of Canada, and reportedly couldn't be happier.

According to a photo and story posted in a Canadian newspaper, HBK was shooting "Shawn Michaels' MacMillian River Adventures" for a cable network.

"One of the things I love doing is getting out and hunting. My family and I live almost exclusively on wild game. It serves two things, it feeds the family and it lets me get out of everybody's hair at the house and get out and do something I enjoy with my buddies," said Michaels.

"Shawn Michaels' MacMillan River Adventures" premieres June 28th on the Outdoor Channel.
