Former WWE creative team member Court Bauer has revealed online that Ed Koskey has been promoted within WWE as the new head writer on the Smackdown creative team. Koskey will be replacing Michael Hayes. According to Prowrestling.net, Hayes will remain with WWE and will continue to manage the agents/producers.

What’s been your most embarrassing gimmick?
I was in the Spirit Squad, which was a group of guys with a cheerleading theme. I told myself no matter what the persona is, get your foot in the door and run with it.
Were you tough cheerleaders?
We got beat up sometimes and sometimes we came out on top. Cheerleaders don’t have a good rep as tough guys but we were as entertaining as possible. We got in the ring with some of the greatest – Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Roddy Piper – which only helped.
How are your pompom-shaking skills?
We worked on different cheers to embrace the gimmick and enjoyed the boos that came with being a cheerleader. On our days off we went to cheerleading and gymnastics camp...More?
