TNA Executives Speak On Destination X PPV
Following last nights Destination X PPV, several TNA executives gave their thoughts on the show via Twitter.
Dixie Carter: "Wow. What a brilliant night for Impact Wrestling's X Division. I'm so proud."
Hulk Hogan: "PPV - Did you like it? HH"
Eric Bischoff: "Enjoyed the PPV tonight. Big tip of the hat to RVD and Jerry Lynn. Story, action, and character. The way it should be done."
Jeremy Borash: "Mike Tenay is a class act and was a great pleasure to work with. Incredible job by the wrestlers tonight at #DestinationX"
Finlay: Why I Was Fired By WWE
"I was given a lot of leeway and a lot of power in WWE, and that comes with a lot of responsibility. I made a call that caused a storm and I paid for it.
They play the American national anthem over here before every event. We had Miz going out first and, because it was just before WrestleMania, we were trying to get as much heat on him as possible.
So my spur-of-the-moment call, as I sat right by the technician, was to tell him to hit Miz's music while they were half-way through the national anthem.
Of course, people were up in arms about it, but it was a good reaction as a heel. But there were National Guard people in the building that took exception to it, and I understand that fully.
It wasn't intended to insult anybody in that way — it was just part of an entertaining show. That's what we do, we entertain — it's about cheers and boos."...More?

Former Motorhead Guitarist Michael 'Wurzel' Burston Has Died
Motörhead guitarist Michael ‘Würzel’ Burston has died at the age of 61, according to the Guardian. Würzel passed away yesterday after suffering from heart disease.
A former army corporal, the guitarist joined the Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilminster-fronted Motörhead in 1984 and rapidly established himself as a fan favorite thanks to his larger-than-life personality and devotion to the metal cause. “I’m not sure why we sound like we do,” Würzel told the Boston Herald in 1991. “Maybe it’s because I hate my guitar and play it accordingly. But there’s always something to be said for banging a chord that hits you in the back of the head.
Würzel played on a string of Motörhead albums, including 1986′s Orgasmatron and 1991′s 1916, before leaving in 1996. He was on nine Motörhead albums from 1984’s No Remorse to 1995’s Sacrifice. The guitarist had recently formed a new band, Leader of Down.

Rumor Mill - More WWE Writing Team Shakeups Expected
WrestleZone.com is reporting that there are more shakeups on the WWE writing team expected after Ed Koskey's promotion to the lead writer of SmackDown.
Stephanie McMahon is said to be revamping the manner in which the TV shows will be pitched to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, and Koskey's promotion was only the first in several steps.
In a related note, WrestleZone confirmed earlier this evening that although there are widespread reports that Michael Hayes has been moved into a management position, he is still very much a part of the writing team and has even been promoted a little bit to work alongside Brian Gewirtz on the "wrestling" end of the writing team hierarchy. Hayes will still report to Stephanie McMahon.
