Rumor Mill - Mick Foley Wants "One More Match" in WWE

WrestleZone.com is reporting that WWE writers have been informed Mick Foley is, and we quote, "yearning" to do one more match under the WWE umbrella, whether or not it's billed as a retirement match. While backstage in Philadelphia, Foley expressed a tremendous interest in having one more match, since his youngest child is now old enough to appreciate seeing Foley in the ring.

We've been told Foley will become a "Good Will Ambassador" to WWE, tapping into his large body of work with charitable organizations, but that his heart is set on wrestling one last match for WWE before hanging up his boots for good.

Of course, he hung up his boots in 2000, only to come back weeks later when WWE Chairman Vince McMahon offered him a chance to be part of a four-way WrestleMania main event.

Vince McMahon Conference Call Coverage

Vince McMahon hosted a conference call pertaining to the second quarter financial report that was released on August 4. The following are the highlights of the call.

-Michael Weitz, head of investor relations, kicked off the conference call by reading through some of the basics of the quarterly report and the legalities.

-Vince McMahon acknowledged that business was essentially flat if you exclude WrestleMania 27's impact. However, he said they are proud of that.

-Vince said they intend to roll out additional programming. He said they may roll out a one-hour show that would air prior to Monday Night Raw. He didn't make it sound like it was a done deal, though.

-A caller asked if the company would consider going private again or selling controlling interest. "No," Vince quickly responded.

-Vince said they have something of a new slant regarding their current creative. He and the other company officials touted success of the new talent initiative at various times.

-Barrios said he believes something will happen in the third or four quarter regarding programming such as WWE Superstars and NXT.

-Vince was asked about meeting with UFC president Dana White. He was asked whether he would consider partnering with UFC on a network. "Absolutely not," Vince said regarding the partnership. "There was a meeting, and quite frankly, it was more social than anything else."...More?

WWE Magazine Teases Return of The Undertaker

The latest edition of WWE Magazine is teasing the return of The Undertaker at the upcoming Vengeance PPV on Sunday, October 23rd:

"On October 23 Vengeance rises from the grave in the form of an all new Pay Per View. What better time and place for The Undertaker to make his return to a WWE ring? After all, it was a year and a day to the date that the Deadman lost a Buried Alive match to Kane with the aid of the Nexus at 2010′s Bragging Rights. The Phenom hasn't come calling for revenge on that score (some streak got in the way) So if we were Kane or Wade Barrett, we'd watch our backs come October. And if you happen to hear the ominous gong, you'll know the bell indeed tolls for thee."
