Indy Wrestler Devon Nicholson Files Suit Against WWE

Devon "Hannibal" Nicholson, the Ottawa wrestler who has already filed a $6.5M lawsuit against Abdullah the Butcher, has now filed a statement of claim against World Wrestling Entertainment, claiming wrongful dismissal/breach of contract. The wrestler, who has Hepatitis C, is seeking almost $6 million from WWE.

The suit, filed August 26th and served September 26, 2011 in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, is based on the fact that WWE offered Nicholson a standard contract on June 5, 2009, and later rescinded the contract on August 28, 2009, upon discovery that Nicholson had Hepatitis C through medical tests required for the employment.

Nicholson is alleging that he was discriminated against based on the fact that he was found to be Hepatitis C positive. His separate claim against Abdullah the Butcher (Larry Shreve, of Atlanta) is accusing the famed wrestler infected Nicholson with the blood disease.

Is WWE Out of Control?

Questions continue to swirl after Triple H's controversial assault on two helpless former WWE employees, and the entire WWE locker room is demanding answers.

Miz and Truth viciously assaulted all three main event competitors, as well as the helpless cameramen andGame attacks referees, at which point, the COO, Laurinaitis, and nearly the entire WWE locker room charged the Cell, looking for a way to stop the brutal attack. After several long minutes spent waiting for Triple H to actually take control of the situation, a WWE official finally used a pair of bolt cutters to slice through the Cell's lock, allowing R-Truth and Miz to be subdued by law enforcement officials.

And then it happened.

As Truth and Miz were lead up the ramp by police officers, the COO – perhaps frustrated at his inability to take charge – snapped, and physically assaulted the two handcuffed former Superstars until he, too, was physically restrained and pulled from the melee.

What was the COO thinking when he attacked two helpless former employees?...More?

My Favorite Movie: Triple H

"Depends on the day. My favorite action movie is 'Gladiator' because, to me, the story is so phenomenal. The action is great, and all that stuff, but the story is phenomenal. After that I can name a million comedies, from 'The Hangover' to 'Dumb and Dumber.'

"I'm a big comedy fan, I like to be entertained and laugh. Just depends on my mood. If I'm in a serious mood something like 'Gladiator,' if I'm not something like 'Tropic Thunder.'"

Paul "Triple H" Levesque is a five-time WWE World Champion wrestler who has appeared in such movies as "Blade: Trinity" and "The Chaperone." He can currently be seen wrestling with his inner-demons in the action-drama "Inside Out."
