Jim Ross "Blindsided" By WWE RAW Firing

Jim Ross being called in to the ring and told he was "fired" and then tipped his hat and walked out was an unplanned segment for Ross according to F4Wonline.

They are reporting that the segment of John Laurinaitis "firing" Ross wasn't in the script. It has been said that JR's wife was sitting in the front row and could be seen getting very excited when her husband was getting in the ring and then had no idea that being "fired" was taking place on that night.

As he normally does, Ross has been answering questions with fans on Twitter and has stated that it was "embarrassing."

Rumor Mill - News on Chris Jericho & Mick Foley's WWE Returns

Wrestlezone.com is reporting that a key WWE insider confirmed that both Chris Jericho and Mick Foley are expected to return to WWE in some capacity between now and WrestleMania, but neither will be "full time, on the road, weekly characters for more than one storyline." This news comes despite Jericho Tweeting yesterday that he had "no plans" to return to WWE.

According to their key insider, "HHH has taken a very active role in pushing Vince into forgetting about the past arrangements where talent had to be full time. HHH has pushed for certain valuable superstars like Foley and Jericho to be brought back for selective runs leading into big shows like SummerSlam and WrestleMania."

Added their insider, "Vince feels very good about The Rock's part time position, and also Stone Cold Steve Austin's part time position through Tough Enough. The use of those legends has opened Vince's eyes to a new way of doing business."

Brock Lesnar in WWE '12

After SEVEN YEARS apart, UFC pain machine Brock Lesnar is getting back into business with the company that put him on the map -- WWE -- in a deal that will make him the "featured star" in a brand new video game.

Multiple sources confirm ...the people developing "WWE: 12" approached Brock back in January and asked for permission to use his name and likeness in the game and the advertising campaign.

We're told Brock loved the idea -- but wouldn't sign off unless his current boss, UFC honcho Dana White, gave his blessing. Fortunately, it worked out.

TMZ spoke with White, who told us, "I love WWE and I have nothing but love for Vince McMahon -- I'm totally OK with Brock being in the game."

We're told the first commercial for the game -- starring Brock -- will be released tomorrow.
