Wrestling Legend Killer Karl Kox Passes Away At Age 80

Pro wrestling legend Killer Karl Kox (real name: Herb Gerwig) passed away on Thursday morning at the age of 80.

Gerwig was a legitimate wrestling headliner in the 1960s and 1970s and was one of the all-time top villians in Australia, in addition to his multiple main-events in the United States.

Gerwig suffered what was described as a massive heart attack back in late October, and according to reports, never fully recovered.

Comics & Wrestling: A Perfect Match

It's a known fact that when put together, comic books and wrestling aren't a tasty cocktail. While I'm sure it can be done in a worthwhile manner, things like the last round of WWE comics and the character-centric comics of the '90s haven't exactly inspired confidence in the partnership.

However, comic books and professional wrestling as industries and forms of entertainment actually share a lot more in common than one might expect...More?

Chyna Says She Has No Problem Working With Triple H & Stephanie McMahon

Chyna appeared on The Howard Stern Show Monday to promote her first professional pornographic film, Backdoor To Chyna and revealed that she recently wrote a letter to Vince McMahon regarding a possible return to WWE. The organization responded and informed Chyna they were not interested in doing business with her at that time. She has since clarified on Twitter that she offered to return to WWE prior to her affiliation with the producer of her film.

“I extended the olive branch to Vince before Vivid made their offer. He didn’t want me back,” she wrote.

Nonetheless, Chyna still has the door open for a return to WWE. She posted numerous messages on Twitter indicating that she would like return to the organization.

* “I would love the opportunity to come back & give the WWE Universe ONE MORE MATCH!”

* “I would love to come back to the WWE Universe. Vince McMahon needs to bring me back.”

* “Hopefully one day I will be back in the WWE.”

* “Vince doesn’t seem to want me back but if enough fans want it he’ll have to do it.”

The relationship between Triple H, her former real-life boyfriend, and Stephanie McMahon (with whom Chyna claims he had an affair and then left her for), was a major factor in her departure from WWE in 2001. She reiterated on Twitter, “We were actually a couple when Stephanie was having an affair for Triple H for a whole year while he was with me.” However, when asked whether that would pose a problem for her in returning to WWE, she said no.

“The past is the past,” she wrote. “I want to wrestle and do business with the WWE. It’s business, not personal.”

When asked which WWE Diva she would like to face upon her return, she quipped, “The only diva I would want to take on if I ever came back is the biggest one, Vince McMahon.”

Rumor Mill - Evan Bourne Not The Only "User" But Only One Suspended

Evan Bourne wasn't the only one who "should" have been suspended according to reports by The Wrestling Observer newsletter.

It is believed that Bourne was suspended for violating the company's wellness policy courtesy of smoking fake marijuana, believed to be Spice. The word going around in WWE is that Bourne used the drug at a party with other WWE talents who were using it as well. The talents on the roster who also smoked the fake marijuana are said to be higher up on the roster.

Internal talks have been on the fact that a mid-carder gets suspended for doing something that a main eventer does for which he/she is not punished.

Kurt Angle Gets Fines & No Jail Time For Reckless Driving

A judge in Virginia has ordered Kurt Angle to pay $1,500 for reckless driving. Angle got charged with reckless driving when he was arrested in September on the suspicion of drunk driving. Angle was hit with the maximum fine of $2,500 but the judge suspended $1,000 of it.

Angle will not serve any jail time and will not lose his license.

Angle's attorney plead No Contest on Tuesday. Angle was not present in court. He was originally charged with DUI but was only tried for the reckless driving charge.

Angle's lawyer says when he was pulled over for swerving on the road after a TNA live event in September, he was just texting on his cell phone. The story is that Angle was texting the promoter of the show, presumably a TNA employee, about his payment that night. The state district attorney did not believe that Angle was simply texting while driving but the judge sided with Angle's defense.

Is "The Kliq" history?

“The Kliq” was, at one point, the strongest unit in sports-entertainment. This inseparable crew of locker room buddies - including Triple H, Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels - were among the most influential Superstars in WWE just before the dawn of the Attitude Era. Their friendship has withstood every trial and tribulation, until now.

Nash made sure that was clear during his first appearance on Raw SuperShow since his brutal sledgehammer attack on the WWE’s COO two weeks ago. WWE.com is left wondering: Is The Kliq history?

Monday night in Liverpool, England, Nash took the WWE Universe back to The Kliq’s early days, when it was just “Big Daddy Cool” and HBK. More than a decade ago, a young Triple H visited the WWE locker room with his trainer, Killer Kowalski, and made an impression on the two champions, who took The Game, then an aristocrat known as Hunter Hearst-Helmsley, under their wing. They introduced him to Sean Waltman (a.k.a. The 1-2-3 Kid/X-Pac) and Scott Hall (a.k.a. Razor Ramon), and the five traveled the roads together, becoming extremely close, like brothers. With his Kliq cohorts out of the picture, Nash may have singlehandedly changed things between all of them forever...More?
