Joe Stecher defeats Earl Caddock in New York City at Madison Square Garden. The show draws a gate of $80,000. Caddock takes home $15,000 and Stecher $25,000. This match pits Joe Stecher's claim of the World Championship against Caddock who had never truly lost the title and made one Undisputed World Champion in Stecher. The match is the oldest known wrestling match which still survives on film.

Kharma Makes her Return at the Royal Rumble
Kharma returned to WWE television as a surprise entrant during the Royal Rumble match making her only the third female in history to compete in the Rumble.
Kharma, who has been away since late May 2011 due to pregnancy, was eliminated by Dolph Ziggler. However, before her elimination, she managed to hit him with the Implant Buster.

During tonight's WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, it was announced that beginning this Wednesday, WWE and YouTube will be partnering up to show 9 special WWE-related original programs. This will be referred to as "WWE on YouTube."
The shows are: WWE Presents, Download, Outside the Ring, Santino's Foreign Exchange, Are You Serious?, Zack Ryder's "Z True Long Island Story," Backstage Fallout, WWE Inbox, and Superstar Toyz.

Triple H's UFC Comments Come Alive in Chael Sonnen
Back in September 2011, Triple H drew a lot of heat for comments he made about the UFC needed to evolve and "give more of an entertainment standpoint". Various MMA sites have picked up on Chael Sonnen's interview after his UFC win last night and noted how closely it resembled a promo from Superstar Billy Graham. You be the judge:
Sonnen is being criticized for "stealing" the promo; however, I think he is just a fan paying homage to a legend. I think Triple and Chael have the right idea with bringing more "show" to the UFC.

Family Raises Questions About Wrestler's Death
New details have emerged on the death of 25-year-old wrestling student Quentin Washington. According to his parents and a local news report, Quentin took a bump on his head during training at Gillberg's Pro Wrestling Academy in Maryland, left the ring momentarily, and returned to the ring before passing out and beginning to vomit. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was determined to be brain dead.
Quentin's parents told WUSA9 that they plan to pursue legal action against Gillberg's wrestling school and they would like to see the law changed to where medical personnel is required at wrestling training schools...More?

Shane Douglas Claims Dixie Carter has Spent $150 Million on TNA, Says Triple H Used One of his Promos
Shane Douglas reveals that Dixie Carter has spent nearly $150 million dollars according to his sources in TNA. By comparison, ECW spent roughly $8.2 million dollars in seven years. Douglas talks about how badly they have used the young guys like AJ Styles and Bobby Roode. Douglas feels like those two guys should be stars in the business. "The stuff they are given is god awful." He continued to talk about the business has changed from old and new school. Douglas is giving some great insight into how stuff went back in the day.
Douglas is asked about his critics who feels that he didn't live up to his potential. Douglas agrees with what Mick Foley said about him in his first book to a certain extent. He stands behind everything that he has ever said during his career. He believes that the Extreme Reunion show has gotten more buzz than any TNA show has ever put on during their existence.
