On Wednesday, June 27th, the Brooklyn Cyclones, World Wrestling Entertainment, and Facebook will join forces for Anti-Bullying Night at MCU Park.
On this special night, there will be a pre-game rally from 5:30-7:00 PM, with the focus on WWE's "be a STAR" campaign. Several WWE Superstars will be on hand to address the audience, sign autographs and build awareness against bullying while encouraging fans to sign up for the "be a STAR" pledge.
Between innings, Cyclones players will be featured on the outfield-screen promoting anti-bullying, and the on-field Emcee will leverage Facebook using the "Stop Bullying: Speak Up" app to encourage fans to sign up and pledge against bullying.

WrestleMania Sets Pay-Per-View Record
WWE announced today that WrestleMania, held April 1 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, set new records for pay-per-view buys and gross sales. Preliminary estimates show that WrestleMania, featuring the historic Once in a Lifetime match between The Rock® and John Cena®, garnered 1.3 million pay-per-view buys with global gross sales in excess of $67 million including the live event.
WrestleMania was seen around the world on pay-per-view in more than 105 countries and 20 languages.
Next year’s WrestleMania will take place Sunday, April 7, 2013 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Ticket information will be announced later this year.

Stanislaus Zbyszko defeats Wayne "Big" Munn for the World championship in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when promoter Tony Stecher double crosses promoters Billy Sandow and Ed White. Zbyszko shoots on Munn to take the title. The referee, who was on the Sandow-White-Lewis payroll, is forced to count two falls after Zbyszko pins Munn several times in the match, just to keep the crowd from rioting. Munn remains recognized in some areas as champion.

WWE Invades Russia
WWE successfully held its first-ever live event in Russia on Wednesday, April 11, where more than 6,000 fans were in attendance to see their favorite WWE Superstars and Divas live in the ring at the Luzhniki Small Sports Arena in Moscow.
WWE Executive Vice President and WWE Superstar Paul "Triple H" Levesque made a surprise guest appearance at the RAW live event in Moscow joining Superstars John Cena® and CM Punk™. Levesque stated, "The response from our fans in Moscow at Luzhniki was overwhelming. WWE is very proud to have already established such a loyal fan base in Russia in a little over a year. We look forward to returning again in the near future and delivering an even bigger experience."
Since the launch of WWE's flagship weekly TV show WWE RAW on 2x2 in February 2011, the company has seen a steep rise in popularity across Russia. Now both WWE RAW and WWE SmackDown are seen in more than 24 million Russian TV households every week and a Russian language WWE website (ru.wwe.com) with Tvigle launched earlier this year.

Booker T Reality Series Update
Booker T wrote on his Twitter account that filming for his new Youtube reality series "The Reality of Wrestling", which will focus on his Texas independent promotion and school will begin this week in advance of a planned May debut online.

Our Lady Peace Comments on Retiring Chris Benoit's Theme Song
Some bands refuse to play some of their songs live. Radiohead immediately comes to mind, because for the most part, they rarely perform their mega-hit "Creep" on tour. The reasoning varies from band to band, but in the case of Thom Yorke and company I'm pretty sure they nixed that song from any set because they despise all it stood for when it came out in the grunge rock era. I could be wrong, but it really doesn't matter. In the case of Canadian rockers Our Lady Peace, they've chosen to take one of their popular songs off any set list for an entirely different reason. In a nutshell, the track comes with way too much baggage.
"Whatever" was the entrance song for fellow Canadian star and former WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) superstar Chris Benoit, whose wrestling career and life ended in a murder-suicide in 2007. In an interview just prior to their show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on April 5, the band's frontman Raine Maida and guitarist Steve Mazur discussed how they've had to retire the song altogether because of the incomprehensible tragedy that took place...More?
