WWE Diva Quits Company
Maxine, who's been seen mostly on WWE NXT and a few Raw appearances, including Monday's Battle Royal, has quit the company and is gone, according to WWE sources.
The word making the rounds is that she had been frustrated with a number of things, including not being offered a guaranteed deal and not having the chance to prove herself on TV beyond the WWE NXT level.
Maxine, real name Karlee Perez, signed a WWE developmental deal in 2009. After wrestling for Florida Championship Wrestling, she was brought up to NXT for the all Divas third season. She returned to NXT as part of the retribution season four and became involved in a triangle with Derek Bateman and Johnny Curtis.

WWE Seeks Dismissal of CT Newspaper's Complaint
The professional wrestling company that Republican Senate candidate Linda McMahon once oversaw now wants a federal elections complaint filed by a Connecticut newspaper dismissed.
The WWE, formerly known as World Wrestling Entertainment, said the complaint filed by the Journal Inquirer of Manchester "failed to provide a factual basis" for its accusation that the Stamford-based company illegally helped McMahon's campaign when it threatened a lawsuit against the newspaper.
In a statement released Wednesday, WWE called the claim "absurd" and "an abuse of process."
The Journal Inquirer filed its complaint with the Federal Elections Commission after a WWE official accused the newspaper of libel and threatened legal action if it didn't retract two opinion columns written by the managing editor, who asserted McMahon made her fortune from the pornography and violence business.

Rumor Mill - WWE Network Not Launching Until 2013?
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the projected launch of the WWE Network in the fall of 2012 is in jeopardy of not happening.
The report claims as the company continues to crunch numbers, they continue to get a negative projection of how things would go if the company launches in 2012 given the current state of WWE business.
The report notes WWE is more likely to continue signing deals like the recent one announced with ION television for the new Wednesday night program called "Main Event."
WWE had targeted April 1st of 2012 to launch WWE Network on the same day as WrestleMania 28. It then got pushed back to a tentative time this fall around November and now it appears it may be pushed back to 2013.
This Day in Wrestling History - CM Punk's Infamous Promo
One year later, CM Punk is the WWE Champion, Stephanie is still EVP, Creative and Paul Levesque is EVP, Talent & Live Events. Seems to me that Punk has grown comfortable with his new tour bus and large paychecks. He needs to get comfortable with the "doofus" and the "idiot" being his bosses since that is inevitable.

Police: Wrestler Ric Flair, wife involved in fight
Wrestler Ric Flair and his wife were involved in an altercation at the couple's SouthPark condo Monday night, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department report.
Police say at around 9:40 p.m. Flair's wife, Jacqueline Bains Beems, assaulted the former professional wrestling champion, whose real name is Richard Morgan Fliehr.
The incident took place at the pair's condo in the 4000 block of Sharon Road near SouthPark Mall, but no one was arrested or transported to the hospital, police said.
Beems was arrested in February of 2010 for allegedly assaulting Flair during a domestic dispute at the couple's home in the Stonecroft neighborhood of south Charlotte.
In that incident, police said Flair's wife punched him in the face. Beems was charged with assault, while Flair received minor injuries and was not transported to the hospital. Those charges were dropped by the district attorney in July 14 due to a lack of evidence.
Beems was also arrested and charged with DWI and reckless driving on March 31, 2012.
Flair and Beems met in 2004 in Chicago and dated until they married on November 11, 2010. Each was married previously.
Flair has been involved in other police incidents. In September 2008, he received cuts and bruises and his 23-year-old daughter was arrested in connection with a dispute that also involved a 22-year-old man at a Raleigh apartment complex.
And in November 2005, Flair was charged in connection with an incident on Interstate 485 in south Charlotte. In that case, he was accused of grabbing another motorist by the neck.
