Stephanie McMahon Talks About New Deal with Tout
PEHub.com recently talked with Stephanie McMahon on the topic of WWE's move to invest in the new social media start-up company, Tout.
Stephanie noted that this won't be the only start-up company that WWE plans to invest in.
"Tout is really the first deal that we’ve done of this kind," said Stephanie McMahon, "but we’re very opportunistic, so if the right opportunity came along, we’d definitely consider it.” Investing in startups is “something we’re exploring.”
WWE NXT Title Tourney to Begin Tonight
WWE announcer Jim Ross confirmed on Twitter Thursday afternoon that an NXT Title tournament will begin at tonight's NXT TV tapings at Full Sail University in Florida. Ross floated the idea in a blog on jrsbarbq.com this week leading up to the tapings. The title tournament is part of WWE re-branding the new season of NXT around WWE Developmental wrestlers.

Alberto Del Rio "crashed" World Hvt. champion Sheamus's Q&A session Thursday at Comic Con to promote their World Title match at the Money in the Bank PPV on Sunday. Del Rio cut off the Q&A and engaged in a promo exchange with Sheamus, who vowed to Brogue Kick Del Rio's head off on Sunday.

“There is talk of having a tournament to crown a NXT Champion which, if and when it is held, could create some amazing opportunities for several young athletes looking to get noticed with the hopes of making it to a Raw or Smackdown WWE roster.

WWE Rehires Former Superstar, Trainer and Agent Fit Finlay
WWE has recently rehired Dave "Fit" Finlay as a producer, reports Bill Apter from 1Wrestling.com.
Finlay was released from his agent/producer position in March of last year after allowing Miz to interrupt the Star-Spangled Banner at a live event. The stunt brought some negative press to WWE and in turn, Finlay got let go from the company.
No information was given on when Finlay officially started back with the company.

Triple H In WWE's Plans After SummerSlam
WWE has announced that HHH will be appearing at the 9/18 Smackdown taping in Philadelphia. Whether that is in an off air role or he will continue as a character after his match at SummerSlam with Brock Lesnar is to be determined.
