TNA LAUNCHES UNPRECEDENTED “WHERE ACTION NEVER ENDS” 24/7 CROSS-PLATFORM PROGRAMMING
TNA BRINGS FANS CLOSER THAN EVER BEFORE TO THE REAL LIVES OF WRESTLING SUPERSTARS
Coming off the heels of one of TNA’s highest-attended “Bound For Glory” Pay-Per-View events to date, TNA Wrestling announces a 24/7 cross-platform programming initiative, “Where Action Never Ends,” beginning today. Marking an evolution in the way fans experience professional wrestling, through this initiative, cameras will be rolling on the TNA superstars at live events, on the road and in their homes, giving viewers the chance to experience IMPACT Wrestling 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
How this will work: Fans will see compelling, “cameras everywhere” content infused into IMPACT Live on Spike TV every Thursday from 9-11 p.m. ET. For the remaining 166 hours of the week until the next show, they will also have the chance to see many of the wrestlers they love and storylines they follow unfold as this exclusive content filmed during the week will be presented online at www.impactwrestling.com, on social channels including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, as well as a variety of new distribution channels in the coming months.
A longtime valued partner, Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla, will serve as the hub for TNA’s revolutionized programming strategy with shows primarily taping at their location, along with some IMPACT shows that will be filmed on the road from different markets. The first IMPACT show scheduled from Orlando will air live on November 21.
“The way that people view television has dramatically shifted, and it is incumbent upon us to deliver a modern, revolutionized way of watching professional wrestling to our fans,” said President Dixie Carter. “Our reality is that we only have 82 minutes of programming each week and a large roster of talented professionals that deserve more exposure. With our new ‘Where Action Never Ends’ creative direction, we will deliver just that for both them and the fans.”
Former NFL Player Training for a WWE Career?
It appears former NFL player Shawne Merriman, who has had some Twitter beef with CM Punk in the past, is training with WWE. Bill DeMott noted on Twitter that Merriman was at the WWE Performance Center training this week. Merriman posted the following on Facebook after his first day at the Performance Center:
"A hard days work 1 down 364 to go #PainWhatPain #LightsOut"
Rumor Mill - WWE Negotiating with Lou Thesz's Widow
WWE has been quietly purchasing items for a physical Hall of Fame. They were recently in negotiations with Charlie Thesz, the widow of wrestling legend Lou Thesz, over a number of his one-of-a-kind items. If the deals went through, WWE would likely induct Thesz into the Hall of Fame.
Jim Ross Comments on Hunter's Promo
Retired former WWE announcer Jim Ross published a new blog at jrsbarbq.com offering his thoughts on Triple H's heelish potshot toward Chris Jericho, Edge, and Rob Van Dam during the final segment of Raw:
"Hunter plays the role of a villain a la a version of Mr. McMahon and is expected to verbally bash fan favorites. Surely you did not take that as being real."

Triple H's Raw promo ruffles more than a few feathers
By Scott Fishman
The last segment of Raw featured the contract signing between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan at Hell in a Cell on Sunday.
During the proceedings Triple H delivered a promo that has gotten a mixed reaction from not only fans, but superstars themselves.
The one part of his verbal SmackDown on Daniel Bryan was putting him in the same category as Rob Van Dam, Edge and Chris Jericho as talented stars who made it, but were never "the guy" for the company. He then went on to say that if any of them had been the face of WWE years ago everyone would be working for Ted Turner.
Those words were seen as stinging jabs to some and part of the show for others. Chris Jericho was less than amused on Twitter with an initial tweet. However, he then sent another saying, “No big deal. Always nice to be mentioned on Raw.”
At the same time Edge didn't seem bothered by it saying, "I think everyone's forgets it's entertainment." RVD tweeted he had missed it, but it, "sounds strong."
Regardless on the fence you stand on, you can't deny it garnered the reaction Triple H was going for. There a lot of angry folks at him, but if there weren't he wouldn't be doing his job. In the world of sports entertainment you have to take what you see as part of a storyline. You also have to take what is seen on social media with a grain of salt. When the lines between reality and story are blurred make it that much more fun to watch.
