Triple H Comments on Allowing His Family to be Interviewed for his DVD
In the October issue of WWE Magazine there is a little interview from Triple H about his DVD. His parents are interviewed on the DVD. "One thing about me. I don't put my family in anything, I feel like there's a line that you have to draw. There is alot of personal exposure, and that exposure can be harmful. So when you open that dooor, you can't be upset when someone comes in. You just have to be careful how much you open the door."
Rumor Mill - WWE Creating A New Role Specifically For Ric Flair – Backstage News On A Major Change In Direction
Prior to the problems WWE had with Ric Flair over SummerSlam weekend, there was a new position being created for him. In addition to filling the role as a “good will ambassador” for the company, Triple H was hoping to use his friend as an “elite level polisher” for developmental talent.
Basically, WWE wanted Flair to work with a few NXTers on main event psychology and promo work. The idea was for talent labeled the most impressive to have one on one time with Flair. One of the things Triple H is looking to change more and more in the coming years is having more of the promos and interviews being in the voice of the performer. This means scripting them less heavily and focusing more on giving the talent general goals and messages to convey, as opposed to memorizing scripts.
This is something seen as a gradual transition with some talent not being trusted in that role and being more heavily controlled. Obviously the better talkers will have more freedom.
So it’s Flair that is being tapped as “coach” for this transition but it could have been delayed due to heat accumulated at SummerSlam Axxess. The heat is expected to blow over (if it hasn’t already) and Flair is expected to land the position created for him.

Rumor Mill - Backstage TNA Atmosphere
It's being reported that there's a lot of talk going on backstage concerning the future of TNA Impact Wrestling. One source describes it as a similar feeling to when The Original ECW was in its dying days. Much like ECW, there are still employees in TNA who are behind in pay, especially the production people.
It's also being reported that there was some heat on TNA President Dixie Carter for skipping the recent TV tapings to go to a football game, which lead to even more questions and concerns.

Frank Gotch again defeats George Hackenschmidt in their rematch from 1908 in front of a reported crowd of 25,000 at White Sox (Comiskey) Park. Hackenschmidt badly injures his knee prior to the match, allegedly at the hands of Ad Santell. Supposedly, and this is one of pro wrestling's great unsolved mysteries, Santel was paid a sum of money to hook Hackenschmidt in training. Gotch hated Hackenschmidt and didn't want to give him a rematch.

NFL Players: The NXT Generation of WWE Superstars
What makes a WWE superstar? The question can be answered in a multitude of ways. But consistently over time what a former NFL player has inside seems to be a quality that is essential in making a WWE superstar. Former NFL players like Bill Goldberg, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Steve McMichael, William “Refridgerator” Perry, Bronco Nagurski, Ron Simmons, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, “Big Cat” Ernie Ladd, Bill Pillman, Wahoo McDaniel, Mike Adamle, Bill Fralic, Lawrence Taylor and Reggie White, to name a few, all have different NFL career portfolios but transferred their football experience to the WWE ring.
In July the WWE opened its new Performance Center in Orlando Florida. This is where all of the developmental talent or as they call it WWE NXT hone their craft to get a shot at being WWE superstars on the main stage.
The facilities are a first-class training camp where prospective superstars, divas, ringside announcers and other personalities get ready for the big stage. I had the chance to interview two young up-and-coming superstars, who are also former NFL players, about their experience so far in the WWE. Former defensive end Dean Muhtadi (Mojo Rawley) and former offensive guard Tom Pestock (Baron Corbin) are two of the guys I spoke with. These two were oddly enough teammates with the Arizona Cardinals when they individually made the choice to try out being a WWE Superstar...More?
