I don't know if it's Dixie Carter or Vince Russo who came up with this storyline, but one of them needs to have their head examined. Seriously. Having to guys come out and act like the bitter ex-employees they are, declaring war on Vince McMahon, HHH, and Shawn Michaels, saying they're better, and that DX was only a success because of them (by them, I mean Kip and BG) not only makes them sound bitter, but also delusional. HBK will always be remembered for launching his singles career by turning on Marty Janetty, his ladder match at WM against Bret Hart for the WWE title, his Screwjob match to Bret at Survivor Series, taking the fall of the top of the cell during his match with Undertaker at Badd Blood (the first ever HIAC) and his amazing comeback after a serious back injury had him sidelined for 5 years. HHH will go down in history as the man who was a 10-time world champion, headlined Wrestlemania 5 years in a row (and counting), making the sledgehammer famous, co-founding the original DX stable, turning Randy Orton and Batista into household names, and for bringing into the world a third generation of the McMahon family (although Shane already had done that twice). So what will Road Dogg and Mr. Ass be remembered for? Well, I'm not really sure. Neither of them has actually done anything important separated. Yes they did enjoy a lot of success and popularity as a tag team during the late 90's, but after 2001, people just kind of forgot they existed. I mean, before they showed up in TNA, did anyone besides me think that at least one of them had died? When this whole thing started, Billy Gunn said DX was sinking faster than the Titanic. Well to that all I have to say is, "It's better to have once floated and now sink than to have never floated at all." I think Boss Foxx once said something like that. Come to think of it, I believe many people have said that. I know it's just a storyline, and nobody really expects a response from WWE (I hope), but they really should think before writing things up. It just makes your superstars look and sound like idiots. And that's where the unintentional comedy comes in. We laugh at VKM not because they're funny, but because they believe they're funny, and that they believe they really are better than HBK and HHH. And for the record, HHH's success and championship reigns began before he even started dating Stephanie. Which just goes to show Vince always liked him, it's not (complete) nepotism. source: lopforums.com

Crackhead Update
PK, my favorite crackhead, has had another car accident. This is the third in about six months. Today's incident happened at lunch. She claims she was a light, the light turned green and she started to proceed through. Then, out of nowhere, a truck in the opposite lane, came towards her, drove over the front end of her car and torn off the front bumper. I know, Hollywood couldn't make this sh*t up. And yes, she is still dating the deputy sherif.
Senate Sex Blog Suit Heads Toward X-Rated Trial
I absolutely love this story. I clearly remember when this happened and the article about it in the Washington Post Magazine. This story got me interested in blogging. I am very interested in the outcome since I have also written about similar exploits. The cnn.com article is here.

Hunter wins Most Luxurious Hair of the Year Award
"I don't really put that much thought into it, but apparently everybody likes it. I use Miller Lite in my hair when I shower, and that's a man law." - Triple H source: WWE Best of 2006 Magazine

CANOE - SLAM! Sports
Hopefully, creative will continue to push Carlito and Johnny Nitro. They have a lot of potential. I like seeing Triple H as a face, but I'm not sure what else they can do with DX. A Hunter/Edge feud would be nice.

Triple H vs. IWC
I think after Monday night's beating HHH has made himself look sufficiently weak. It's time for the IWC to cut him some slack.
The Donald and Rosie Escalate Their Feud
Rosie O'Donnell. What exactly is her purpose in life? What difference does it make to her who holds this title? Jealous maybe? She is the last person to be slinging mud. At least The Donald is not batting from the wrong side of the plate. It's good to see someone finally stand up to her and not take her sh*t. An updated account of what has been said by both parties can be found here.

Publisher in O.J. Book Scandal Fired
CNN.com
I am not surprised by this at all. Someone had to be the scapegoat. I didn't agree with the book and television special, but Murdoch had no complaints with all the money she made for him in the past. If there had not been such an out cry, he probably would have given her a raise.

December to Dismember
Everyone's favorite Extremist, Rob Van Dam, will finally get his chance at Big Show's ECW World Title at December to Dismember. Of course, he has the unenviable task of fighting his way through four other top Extremists in an Extreme Elimination Chamber full of weapons in addition to taking on the Extreme Giant. The Chamber participants CM Punk, Lashley, Test and Sabu each bring an insatiable hunger for the ECW World Title that make for dangerous grounds. Who will escape this dreaded structure as the champion? Can any of these competitors truly survive the most controversial main event in ECW history? Tonight at 8:00pm on pay-per-view.
