I don't know if it's Dixie Carter or Vince Russo who came up with this storyline, but one of them needs to have their head examined. Seriously. Having to guys come out and act like the bitter ex-employees they are, declaring war on Vince McMahon, HHH, and Shawn Michaels, saying they're better, and that DX was only a success because of them (by them, I mean Kip and BG) not only makes them sound bitter, but also delusional. HBK will always be remembered for launching his singles career by turning on Marty Janetty, his ladder match at WM against Bret Hart for the WWE title, his Screwjob match to Bret at Survivor Series, taking the fall of the top of the cell during his match with Undertaker at Badd Blood (the first ever HIAC) and his amazing comeback after a serious back injury had him sidelined for 5 years. HHH will go down in history as the man who was a 10-time world champion, headlined Wrestlemania 5 years in a row (and counting), making the sledgehammer famous, co-founding the original DX stable, turning Randy Orton and Batista into household names, and for bringing into the world a third generation of the McMahon family (although Shane already had done that twice). So what will Road Dogg and Mr. Ass be remembered for? Well, I'm not really sure. Neither of them has actually done anything important separated. Yes they did enjoy a lot of success and popularity as a tag team during the late 90's, but after 2001, people just kind of forgot they existed. I mean, before they showed up in TNA, did anyone besides me think that at least one of them had died? When this whole thing started, Billy Gunn said DX was sinking faster than the Titanic. Well to that all I have to say is, "It's better to have once floated and now sink than to have never floated at all." I think Boss Foxx once said something like that. Come to think of it, I believe many people have said that. I know it's just a storyline, and nobody really expects a response from WWE (I hope), but they really should think before writing things up. It just makes your superstars look and sound like idiots. And that's where the unintentional comedy comes in. We laugh at VKM not because they're funny, but because they believe they're funny, and that they believe they really are better than HBK and HHH. And for the record, HHH's success and championship reigns began before he even started dating Stephanie. Which just goes to show Vince always liked him, it's not (complete) nepotism. source: lopforums.com
