Fighting has been in Rodney Begnaud's blood as far back as he can remember.
He tells the story how his father, John Ernest, and himself as a 4-year-old left the hospital when his brother, former Northside High track and football star John Shane Begnaud, was born to go watch Andre the Giant wrestle at the Domingue Center near N.P. Moss Elementary.
So although Begnaud, known as Redd Dogg Rodney Mack in fighting circles, may not officially have any ultimate fighting experience, he's not at all concerned about looking like a fish out of water when he makes his MMA debut at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lafayette vs. The World ultimate fighting card at Blackham Coliseum...More?
