Former WWE pro wrestler Bobby Lashley has joined the American Top Team.
Lashley, 32, carries with him a strong base in amateur wrestling. The Kansas-born big man won three national amateur wrestling championships while attending Missouri Valley College from 1995-1998. He is also a former National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) wrestling champion.
Lashley joins a camp that includes UFC competitors Thiago Alves, Thiago Silva, Wilson Gouveia, Cole Miller and Ben Saunders. Lashley signed in June to compete for the upstart American Fight League.
