J.R. comments on the Triple H v. Undertaker match, SmackDown/ECW beating Raw in ticket sales, the successful Mexico & Puerto Rico tour and more:
On the Triple H vs. Undertaker match taped on Tuesday that will air tomorrow night: "... the highlight of the night in what was well over a 20 minute battle. The match was physical and intense and was the best old school main event I have seen in a good while on free TV."
Ross reports the SmackDown/ECW taping in Laredo, Tex. out-grossed the Raw taping in Corpus Christi in terms of ticket sales, which he called a rare occurrence.
On WWE's weekend business last week: The three-day tour of Puerto Rico grossed over $1.2 million in tickets sales. In Mexico, WWE's four events in Monterrey and Mexico City grossed approximately $2.5 million in ticket sales.
On WWE's European tour in November: "Brussels, Minehead, Sheffield, Cardiff, the Manchester Raw, London, Glasgow, and Aberdeen are all sell outs and several other events on the tour could be sold out by the time many of you read this."
