Potential for Miz/Morrison vs. DX Match

On Monday, WWE has a chance to boost or crush two emerging stars. Miz & Morrison face momentum-killers DX on the special three hour of edition of Raw.

Miz and Morrison have earned their place on the roster and have delivered in the ring and on the mic. They are one of WWE's better young acts. They are well-defined, they are passionate about their gimmick and promos, and they're young and cool but in a way where the typical fans can't wait to boo them.

The key for WWE to get out of the rut their in is to take some chances and establish new stars. Right now, as Paul Heyman pointed out in his UK Sun article last week, Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes aren't exactly setting Raw on fire. They're good young wrestlers, but they carry themselves like two veterans in their mid-30s. There's nothing about the personas that really has stood out yet. Contrast that with Miz & Morrison, who are as defined an act as anyone in WWE today. And they can work a good match...More?
