PWTorch.com is reporting that following last night's WWE Raw in Washington, D.C., a mix of WWE wrestlers took off from Andrews Air Force Base this morning bound for Germany, then to Iraq for the annual "Tribute to the Troops" taping.
The crew will be in Iraq for the remainder of the week visiting the U.S. troops in Iraq before filming the TV special that will air Dec. 20 on NBC.
Jim Ross wrote on his jrsbarbq.com blog about the trip from what he's heard: "Each individual that makes the trip will come back a better person from what others have told me about their experience of interacting with the troops who so bravely serve our country."
