• “Wrestler of the Year”: Triple H. When reflecting on 2008, is there one wrestler who was hands down the best of the past 12 months? Not really. Injuries, movie deals and other interests outside of the wrestling ring prevented any one person from dominating the sport. Triple H had another solid year, holding the WWE world championship for about seven months.
