Professional wrestler Reginald (Sweet Daddy) Siki relocated to Toronto from Texas in 1962. For three decades he fought the likes of The Sheik, Whipper Billy Watson and Andre the Giant in venues across North America, won what Wikipedia calls “six major wrestling belts” and, locally, attracted capacity crowds to his frequent appearances at Maple Leaf Gardens.
