There Is Only So Much Triple H vs Randy Orton We Can Take

Now we are not saying these men are not deserving of their spots — it's just we've seen it all before.

Next week, Triple H will wrestle Cena (again) to see who faces Randy at Night of Champions.

You may recall a Battle Royal took place all of two weeks ago to decide a No1 contender. The last two in the ring were? You've guessed it, Triple H and Cena.

Triple H and Orton is completely overplayed now and Cena has tangled with the Legend Killer plenty of times, too.

In fairness to WWE, who do they give the spot to if not wither of these? The prospect of Big Show isn't too appetising. MVP isn't as good a babyface as he was a heel. Kofi? No mic skills. Miz? Will never be seen as headliner. Kennedy? Woops, they fired him.

The trouble is, these people are not being allowed to get to this level because they are given no time on TV to look good against top stars.

MVP got beaten quickly by an injured Game. Miz got dismissed twice by Cena without much offense at all. The depth is there, it just has to be created, and WWE are not interested in making anyone but Hunter and Cena look good.

Let's just keep our fingers crossed that there will be chances for new stars to emerge sooner rather than later...More?
