With the rest of the Raw roster stranded in Europe, Triple H turned things up a notch to deliver a great show-opening promo, and the Undertaker competed for the first time since WrestleMania, among other surprises in a bizarre Raw.
All things considering, I think WWE did a pretty good job putting together the show last night with most of Raw's top stars, including John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton and Sheamus - all key players in Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view - stuck in Belfast, Ireland. Three of them made appearances via satellite for promos, though they were nothing special.
Triple H, on the other hand, delivered a great promo with C.M. Punk to open the show, even if it did drag on for a bit. Much has been made of WWE scripting interviews for its talent, but I'm pretty sure Triple H is one of the few they just let fly. Punk might be one of the others.
