WWE Superstars Results: Here Comes the Boom

With his NXT Rookie Michael McGillicutty looking on from ringside, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston brought the boom to The Straight Edge Society’s Luke Gallows in this volatile, non-title main event. With the beautiful, but dangerous Serena by his side, CM Punk’s most loyal soldier used his 300-pound frame to keep the high-flying Kingston on the mat for the majority of the match. But Kofi’s explosiveness simply couldn’t be stopped. When the big man went for Gallow’s Pole, the Intercontinental Champion reversed it into the S.O.S. for the 1-2-3.
