With the nomination of Linda McMahon, former chief of the WWE, for Senator from Connecticut, the Democrats are jumping up and down with outrage that a wrestling magnate would dare run for public office. After all, pro wrestling is such an unseemly form of entertainment, with steroid bulked man-monsters chasing each other around the ring with chairs.
