Dan McDevitt came to the ring and offered Jimmy Cicero the job of Commissioner of MCW. Cicero accepted.

The MCW Anniversary tag team title shot was on the line in the next matchup. C-Fed would defeat Ramblin Rich to earn the title shot for FED-UP. After the match, "G-Fed" would appear to turn on C-Fed, as Rich, manager J.P. Callahan, and Jessie Kaye would join in on the attack of C-Fed. However, "G-FED" was actually Earl The Pearl in disguise. New Commissioner Jimmy Cicero would order everyone to leave, except Earl, who was ordered to compete in the next match, which resulted in a loss to "The Samoan Tsumani" Nui Tofiga.

Maryland wrestling fans were well aware of the issues that exists between members of The Hit Squad, Drolix and Kindred. Those issues would come to a head on January 1st, as newcomer James Anthony was able to score the upset over Drolix, after a miscue by Kindred. After the match, Drolix and Kindred would come to blows, thus ending the team for good.
