Secretary of State Clinton Slams Pro Wrestling for Being Anti-American

According to an article by The Washington Post, U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton said Wednesday that the country is losing a "public relations battle" to things like the former popular "Baywatch" TV show and pro wrestling.

While Hollywood movies and television are pervasive around the world, they mostly serve to worsen the distortion, Clinton said. She recalled meeting an Afghan general whose impressions of Americans had been informed entirely by popular TV shows such as "Baywatch" and pro wrestling.

"We are in an information war, and we're losing that war. The only thing he thought about Americans was that all the men wrestled and the women walked around in bikinis. Most people still get their news from TV and radio."...More?

I guess Clinton has forgotten that on April 21, 2008, during the U.S. Presidential campaign, she along with Barack Obama and John McCain all appeared on Monday Night Raw on the USA Network with specially taped messages targeting the wrestling audience. Hopefully WWE will post this reminder on their site.
