A local wrestling promotion will be delivering more than just suplexes and piledrivers this week. It will try to help "bodyslam autism" by raising money and awareness for the cause.
Maryland Championship Wrestling is holding a special show Friday, April 8th at the New Green Room in Dundalk, titled "Bodyslam Autism." MCW Commissioner "Wiseguy" Jimmy Cicero says his two young sons both have autism, and he's hoping this event will spread autism awareness into the professional wrestling industry.
Bell time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on April 8th. Tickets start at $25. For more information, check out www.marylandwrestling.com.
