WWE Studios is venturing into the comedy movie genre, according to a Deadline.com report.
Studios head Michael Luisi is partnering with producer Edward R. Pressman and Jason Blum’s "Blum-Hanson-Allen Film" company to produce an action comedy called "Cruisin' for a Bruisin'."
The movie is described as "two rule-breaking ex-cops get back together to take revenge on the crooks and corrupt Senator who murdered their mentor.
Luisi commented that WWE is seeking out "creative and strategic partnerships" to broaden their slate of movies beyond action and drama. Production and release dates are unknown at this time...More?
