Dana White Says Vince McMahon Wanted To Fight Him

UFC President Dana White recently took part in an interview for RĂ©seau Des Sports out of Canada, and spoke on a number of topics pertaining to mixed martial arts. Before the interview concluded, the following exchange took place:

Host: You’ve built this multi-billion dollar industry from the ground up. Just like another guy that we might know – Vince McMahon. If I locked you guys up in a cage together, who do you think would come out victorious?

White: Let me tell you something – I’ll tell you this, and I’ve never said this before ever in an interview, ever, anywhere. Okay? And if Vince hears this, he’s gonna go nuts. Vince is too old. He’s too old, which he won’t think he is and he’ll go crazy. And he wanted to do that one time. Vince wanted to fight me. Swear to God, he called me up and said “Let’s do it. We can either do it in the UFC, or let’s do it at WrestleMania.” And I said, “You are crazy.” [...] I always have said it and I’ll say it again: I respect Vince very much, but Vince is too old to be fighting anybody.
