The NFL and NBA are co-hostied an Athlete Development Summit in N.Y. The two-day program, overseen by the Professional Association of Athlete Development Specialists, will include panel discussions and networking with academic, athletic, and medical personnel. Around 70 people are expected to attend. Participating organizations include the NCAA, LPGA, ATP, WTA, MLB, and WWE. The NFL and NBA are founding members of PAADS and will host the meetings.
Included in the summit are sessions like “Evolution of Athlete Development,” “Working with Families,” and “To Know or Not to Know: Discovering and Acknowledging Innate Gifts & Talents.”
