WWE Main Event Results 5/01/13

Dark Match:

Bo Dallas defeated Curt Hawkins in a quick bout. Dallas used his finisher, which was in inverted belly to belly suplex slam.

WWE Main Event:

Kofi Kingston defeated Antonio Cesaro to retain the WWE United States Championship. The crowd was really into this match, which lasted close to 20 minutes. Cesaro was able to ground Kingston with a few submission holds, specifically working on his legs. Kingston would hit Trouble in Paradise for the victory. He grabbed a microphone and talked about how he is a new father and that he is coming home to see his wife and kid. The crowd cheered him after this.

Justin Gabriel defeated Heath Slater. The members of 3MB tried to interfere in the match, but the referee ejected them. Gabriel won with his 450 Splash.
