As noted, WWE beefed up security following the rumored ISIS terror threat during Survivor Series weekend, and according to WCHSTV.com, increased security continues at WWE live events.
The report notes that fans who attended last night’s WWE live event in Huntington, WV, were told to arrive to the venue early and be prepared to go through multiple levels of security. Doors to the 5pm event opened at 3:30, and all bags were checked, all fans were scanned with a metal wand, and anyone wearing a heavy coat was searched.
A new measure of security has also been added forcing patrons with bags to empty the contents of the bag into a clear bag which is provided by the venue, and the patrons must then return their bags to their cars.
