Bruce Prichard Working for TNA?- Updated

According to a myspace blog posted by former WWE Diva Victoria, Bruce Prichard is now with TNA:

"I ran into a couple former WWE employees there. Bruce Prichard and Dan Stevenson, who were behind the scenes guys, who are now with TNA. They introduced me to Dixie Carter and her husband. I don't know if she's supposed to have a tough businesswoman image. But I'm gonna shatter that. She was supernice. It's always weird to me when a tidbit of my personal life becomes wrestling gossip, because someone saw Dixie and I talking, and now "I may be going to TNA". I'd be lying if I said it never crossed my mind, but they haven't come to me with anything, and I am really focused on my MMA."

Prichard was part of WWE creative team until his release last December.

**Update**
It seems Victoria has caught wind of the controversy and changed her blog to say the following:

"...I ran into a couple former WWE employees there. Bruce Prichard and Dan Stevenson, who were behind the scenes guys. Dan is now with TNA..."

Charges will not be filed against
Chris Jericho

Victoria police will not lay charges in the melee that erupted after a February wrestling event at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre where pro wrestler Chris Jericho was swarmed by heckling fans and accused of punching a woman.

Police have interviewed several witnesses and watched hours of video recordings of the incident after the World Wrestling Entertainment bout Feb. 7, said police spokesman Sgt. Grant Hamilton. The evidence presents conflicting stories and charges would not be approved by the Crown, he said...More?

Victoria the Prankster; Possible Movie Role

In a new myspace blog, Victoria talks about one of the pranks she pulled in the WWE:

Speaking of WWE, I was known as a bit of a prankster backstage. I was just thinking of a joke I played. I was eating with Fit Finlay, and Khali sat down across from us. I had picked up a piece of cake from catering with no intention of eating it. I was gonna get Fit, but Khali walked right into it. I said,"This cake looks good, but should it be this hot?". Khali put his hand over the cake to feel how hot it was. Of course I slapped his hand into the cake. Everyone was stunned, because they didn't know how he would react. But almost immediately he started laughing, and everyone cracked up. He is so freaky huge, some people don't look at him like he's human. But he was always someone who liked to joke around.

She also states that she is close to signing a movie deal.

The Jericho British Columbia Conspiracy: Work? Shoot?

Chris Jericho, acknowledged as one of the all-time nice guys in wrestling and a normal person away from the ring, is in the news. It is alleged that Jericho, a man who has had no run-ins with anyone of consequence (I’m looking your way, Bill Goldberg) and zealously protects his image, punched a female fan who accosted him after an appearance in Victoria, British Columbia.

As the WWE begins the run up to its biggest PPV of the year (Wrestlemania) by presenting their smallest PPV of the year (No Way Out) about a week after their, arguably, #1 heel gets a lot of ink and bandwith for, well, being a heel? Could it be....A work?

The pieces all add up to this incident being an angle to elevate Jericho to an even higher level of assholedom. He’s never done anything like this + the marks are not charged + there is a video tape + there are ready made scapegoats in the "Security" team that did not protect Jericho + tons of pub including a WWE press release = WORK...More?

Former WWE Diva Hints at MMA Run

From former WWE Diva Victoria's myspace blog:

"I have really increased my jiu-jitsu training. I was even training on vacation. Again, if you know me, I'm 1000% about anything I do. Now that I'm back in Louisville, I've moved from a straight Jiu-Jitsu program into a full MMA training program. I have also been contacted by several agents, a couple of whom represent current and former UFC Champions. But I think that's putting the cart in front of the horse. I think they think I can fill seats. I'll sign with someone if and when I feel that I can be a top level competitor."

WWE Releases Statement on Jericho Attack

"After leaving a live event in Victoria, British Columbia on Saturday evening, Chris Jericho's car was attacked by a mob when he was stopped at a stop sign. Unable to proceed, Chris Jericho exited his car to ask the crowd to clear a path so he could continue through the intersection. A man and a woman physically and verbally assaulted Mr. Jericho. Arena and WWE security arrived to establish enough order to allow Mr. Jericho to re-enter his vehicle and depart. The local police arrived minutes later. Mr. Jericho was unharmed in the incident. The WWE is working with local authorities who are investigating the incident to identify the man and woman who fled the scene."

Victoria Comments on her Retirement from the WWE

From Victoria's myspace blog:

It's been announced on WWE.com, so I guess I should address it. This Friday's Smackdown is my last match with WWE. I started with the company in 2000. I have had so many once in a lifetime experiences. It's been incredible. I was part of an era in Women's Professional Wrestling that will never be duplicated again.

Choosing to leave was a very difficult decision. I think many of my colleagues considered me a "lifer". That is, they thought I'd be with WWE until I was old and grey. But I was not happy with the oppurtunities that were available to me within WWE. And at the end of the day, there are thousands and thousands of women who would kill or die for the chance to be a WWE Diva. It isn't right for me to fill that spot if my heart weren't in it.

And I didn't make a rash decision to walk away. On many occasions I pushed for the Victoria that I'd want to watch. But we were on different pages. I respect their decisions, and they are their decisions to make. Being with WWE is very time consuming. And again, with where we were at, I would rather spend more time at home...More?

Rumor Mill - Victoria retiring from wrestling

Victoria has apparently worked her last match with WWE. According to live reports from tonight's SmackDown taping in Omaha, Nebraska, Victoria lost to Michelle McCool in a match that will air on this week's edition of SmackDown. After the bout, Victoria announced that she was finished with WWE.

This does not appear to be a work as Victoria reportedly gave notice to WWE officials a couple of months ago that she would be retiring from the company. Victoria opened a custom car shop in Louisville, Kentucky last May and is said to be pursuing other career opportunities.

Victoria responds to retirement reports

Former WWE women’s champions Victoria has responded to internet reports that she is set to announce her retirement. Speaking on her MySpace blog, the Smackdown star wrote: “I try not to respond to internet rumors, but I have received hundreds of emails through both myspace and through www.black-widow-customs.com asking me if I am going to retire. I never said that I am, although sooner or later we all will. And I don’t believe that “unnamed talent” is saying that about me either.

“On the other hand, I never said that my retirement is not imminent. I do appreciate everyone’s support. I try to be open about my life in my blogs. But I would never comment about anything, either to confirm or deny, that may come up in future WWE shows. “I’m not the kind of person who wants to know the end of a movie before I see it. And I don’t want to ruin anyone’s future enjoyment of WWE product.”

Rumor Mill - Victoria Retiring?

PWInsider.com is reporting that the word going around WWE over the past 24 hours is that former WWE Women's Champion Victoria (Lisa Marie Varon) is planning on retiring from wrestling shortly, meaning she would be leaving WWE as a performer. There was a rumor over the Survivor Series weekend that she had given notice to WWE officials but we can't confirm that.

Victoria has been with WWE since 2002 and is currently involved in several projects outside of wrestling in the Louisville, Kentucky area where she lives including her own custom body shop for cars.

Kaliqo's Survivor Series Predictions, Picks & Speculations

The Kaliqo Chronicles has been updated!

Chris Jericho (C) vs. John Cena for the World Heavyweight Title
Cena's hometown. I fully expect this to be the main event. Even though this is Cena's return match, if he loses it would set-up a nice rematch at Armageddon.

Triple H (C) vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Vladimir Kozlov in a Triple Threat match for the WWE title
Rumor has it the Hunter v.v Kozlov matches weren't received well during the tour of Europe. I think that's why they added Jeff Hardy just two days before the pay per view. WWE should take a chance on Jeff and put the title on him.

The Undertaker vs. Big Show in a Casket Match
Love the Undertaker. Hate the Big Show. Nuff said.

Team HBK (Shawn Michaels, Rey Mysterio, The Great Khali and Cryme Tyme) vs. Team JBL (JBL, Kane, MVP, The Miz and John Morrison) in a Survivor Series elimination match
After watching Raw this week, I think it will come down to HBK and The Miz or HBK and John Morrison. HBK should give one of them the rub.

Team Batista (Batista, CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Matt Hardy and R-Truth) vs. Team Orton (Randy Orton, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, Shelton Benjamin and William Regal) in a Survivor Series elimination match
Batista versus Orton would be a great match. I think R-Truth and Orton could mix it well also.

Team Raw (Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, Jillian Hall, Candice Michelle and Kelly Kelly) vs. Team SmackDown (Michelle McCool, Victoria, Maria, Natalya and Maryse) in a Divas Survivor Series elimination match.
Diva matches don't mean much to me, but I'm hoping Team Raw beats Team SmackDown simply because I don't like Michelle McCool. Can't they find someone else to put the Diva title on?

KLQWrestling.com will have live coverage of the show on Sunday night starting at approximately 8.00pm EST.
