Members of the WWE Universe can get closer to their favorite Superstars and Hall of Famers than ever before this summer when Club Nokia at LA LIVE in Los Angeles hosts the live SummerSlam Panel series Aug. 15-17. Tickets for the interactive events go on sale at AXS.com starting this Saturday, July 26, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.
The panels give the WWE Universe the opportunity to ask questions directly to their favorite WWE Superstars and Hall of Famers including:
Hulk Hogan on Friday, August 15 at 7 PM PT. The WWE Hall of Famer and pop-culture icon will talk about his legendary career in and out of the ring, as well as his recent return to WWE.
"WWE 2K15" Roster Reveal hosted by Stone Cold Steve Austin featuring John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Roman Reigns, Sheamus and Cesaro on Saturday, August 16 at 10 AM PT. In addition to speaking about their respective WWE careers, the panelists will reveal the official roster for 2K’s upcoming WWE 2K15 video game, which is available October 28. VIP Ticket holders will receive their photo opportunity with Roman Reigns for this SummerSlam Panel.
D-Generation X, featuring Triple H and Shawn Michaels on Saturday, August 16 at 7 PM PT. One of the most popular and controversial groups in WWE history will address their rebellious exploits and discuss their lasting legacy.
Stone Cold Steve Austin on Sunday, August 17 at 12 Noon PT. The WWE Hall of Famer will discuss his monumental rise to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history.
Each panel will feature a two hour discussion and Q&A with fans in attendance. VIP experiences will follow. Rumor Mill - WWE's Plans For Stephanie McMahon & The Bella Twins
Stephanie McMahon is penciled in to face one of The Bella Twins at SummerSlam with the stipulation being that if Stephanie loses, Brie will get her job back with WWE. They just can't decide if they want to have Nikki fight for her sister's job or if Brie will actually get the chance to fight Stephanie for her own job.

Rumor Mill - Triple H's "Plan B" Reference
As seen on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw, Triple H threatened John Cena by saying that he had a "Plan B", which prompted Seth Rollins to come out with the Money in the Bank briefcase behind Cena on the entrance ramp. Although it may have appeared as though Triple H was referring to Rollins and the MITB contract, it's being reported that Triple H's "Plan B" could turn out to be "The Beast" Brock Lesnar.
There's been a lot of speculation over the past few days that a Title match between Cena and Lesnar could eventually take place, possibly at SummerSlam.

Roman Reigns And UFC Champion Ronda Rousey Comment On Rousey Joining The Shield
As noted over the weekend, Roman Reigns was asked by a fan on Twitter if he thinks UFC Women's Champion Ronda Rousey should be a member of The Shield. Reigns replied and said she seems like a good fit, leading to this reply from Rousey and an exchange between the two:

Batista "Quits" WWE During Tonight's Raw Broadcast
During tonight's WWE Raw broadcast, Batista "quit" the company after Triple H wouldn't give him WWE World Heavyweight Title shot. Batista is finishing up with WWE to begin promotional work for his new film Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and is expected to return in time for SummerSlam.

Total Divas Audience Pulls Back Against SummerSlam
This week’s episode of Total Divas did an average viewing audience of 1,349,000 viewers on E. The show, which was up against WWE SummerSlam, saw a pullback in viewership but it was still above the premiere (which both WWE and E were happy about).
Below is a look at how the show has performed since its premiere:

The Ric Flair Weekend Follies, Jim Ross Caught in the Fallout
For those that missed it yesterday, Ric Flair had quite a weekend at the Symposium for the new WWE video game (you can find a video of the entire conference on the site). In a nutshell, Flair was feeling no pain and basically hijacked the show about half way in. WWE management was said to be really angry at Flair's behavior, pulling him from any more activity after the panel ended. The word I have received was that the video game company didn't really have any problems with how the panel went, but to be fair their interests overall are different than WWE's. A lot of the things that Flair said aren't in line with the mores of a family-friendly company.
Some sites apparently reported that Jim Ross, who hosted the event, was drunk at the panel symposium as well. Ross stated on his Twitter that he was not and if you watch the video, I think it would be a stretch for anyone to think that he was. On his Twitter he mentioned that any slurring in his voice was related to his Bells Palsy condition. As I mentioned yesterday he was certainly acerbic and brutally honest at times, but that doesn't equate to drunk. I found him to be very entertaining. Flair was too, but for a much different reason.

WWE Takes Over Los Angeles With SummerSlam
For the fifth straight year, WWE will entertain the city of Los Angeles with a week-long lineup of events that place an emphasis on community and charitable outreach in celebration of SummerSlam, taking place this Sunday, August 18 live on pay-per-view at 8 p.m. ET from Staples Center. The events begin today and include:
• SummerSlam Press Conference – Tuesday, August 13, Beverly Hills Hotel
For the first time, WWE will host a press conference to kick off SummerSlam Week. Days before John Cena® defends the WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan®, the two will come face-to-face at The Beverly Hills Hotel. The SummerSlam headliners will be joined by the biggest names in WWE to offer a preview of this year’s event. The press conference will also be streamed live on WWE.com, YouTube and Facebook.
• Children’s Hospital Visits – Wednesday, August 14
WWE Superstar The Miz® will be joined by Divas Champion AJ Lee™ and WWE Legend Eve™ at the Mattel Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. On both occasions, children will be provided with toys donated by Mattel.
• “Be a STAR” (Show Tolerance and Respect) Anti-Bullying Rallies – Thursday, August 15
WWE and The Creative Coalition will host two anti-bullying rallies at a local youth center and school in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 15. Congresswoman Linda Sanchez, actor Ryan Ochoa and “Anger Management’s” Daniela Bobadilla will join WWE Superstars Big Show®, Hornswoggle® and Alicia Fox™ at the Cathy Hensel Youth Center in Montebello, delivering anti-bullying messages to more than 400 children between the ages of 5-13. WWE and E! Entertainment will host the Superstars for Hope (#STARS4HOPE) red carpet party on Thursday, August 15 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. On July 22, WWE and E! Entertainment launched the first-ever Superstars for Hope fundraising initiative to support Make-A-Wish, featuring chances to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences available to anyone who makes a contribution. Special Guest Referee Announced For WWE Championship Match
During WWE Raw, Vince McMahon came out and was about to announce Brad Maddox as the special guest referee for WWE SummerSlam, but Triple H interrupted. Triple H would declare him as the special guest referee and then connect with a Pedigree. Vince left upset and it looks like Triple H will be the referee for John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship.
