Even now, his dreams are about basketball. So what that he's been in movies and on TV shows and been the best in the world at his profession.
"I love basketball so much, when I dream the recurring one is that I can still jump. I'm going to the baseline and going over somebody and dunking. I guess," he laughed, "you dream about the things that are the farthrest away from happening."...More?

WWE and Boutique Merchandising
World Wrestling Entertainment is pushing a boutique merchandising strategy to retail nationally in 2008, following F.Y.E.'s success with the concept.
In the promotional boutiques, multiple lines of WWE items are displayed together, including DVDs, videogames, toys, apparel and posters. Installations will be built around March 25 releases Triple H: The King of Kings, The Greatest Superstars of Wrestlemania and No Way Out 2008.
Throughout this year, WWE will pitch mass merchants, electronics stores and grocers, as well as specialty outlets such as F.Y.E., to build the boutique sections within stores. They are not designed to be permanent installations, but rather promotional vehicles to help make events out of the release of WWE's latest DVDs, which are distributed through Genius Products...More?

Caroline Kennedy endorses Obama
In a decision she attributes to "patriotic, political and personal" reasons, former First Daughter Caroline Kennedy is endorsing Barack Obama for president.
In an op-ed in Sunday's New York Times published on the paper's Web site Saturday night, titled "A President Like My Father," Kennedy writes: "It isn't that the other candidates are not experienced or knowledgeable. But this year, that may not be enough. We need a change in the leadership of this country — just as we did in 1960….
"I have never had a president who inspired me the way people tell me that my father inspired them. But for the first time, I believe I have found the man who could be that president — not just for me, but for a new generation of Americans."

Redskins fire Williams, Saunders; Blache promoted
The Washington Redskins have virtually their entire coaching staff in place for next season — except for the head coach. And that head coach won't be Gregg Williams. Or Al Saunders. As for the rest of the candidates, they'll have to wait until the Super Bowl is done.
On a busy Saturday at Redskins Park, the team fired assistants Williams and Saunders, promoted Greg Blache to lead the team's defense and formally announced the hiring of Jim Zorn to head the offense. FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer reported Williams' firing earlier Saturday.
There was more. Quarterbacks coach Bill Lazor and Al Saunders' son, offensive assistant Bob Saunders, will also not return next season, a person familiar with the coaching selection process told The Associated Press. The person also said that most, if not all, of the rest of the coaching staff was expected to remain with the team, lending credence to owner Dan Snyder's stated desire to maintain a degree of continuity following the resignation of head coach Joe Gibbs on Jan. 8...More?

Ex-Gladiator Host Officially Joins WWE
As co-host of the original American Gladiators series, Mike Adamle has witnessed his fair share of punches, kicks and body slams. Good thing, too. All the better to prepare him for his latest role: WWE on-air personality.
Best known for his Gladiator role (1989 – 1996), Adamle joins the WWE broadcast team this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, where he’ll get his feet wet interviewing Superstars. From there, Adamle will join team Raw on Monday nights doing, as he describes it, “a little bit of everything.”...More?

Professor Wrestling: 'Royal Rumble' Picks
Royal Rumble Match:
What Should Happen: I'd really like to see Shawn Michaels get a shot at the gold. Or perhaps Mr. Kennedy. You know, even Finlay wouldn't be a bad choice. That guy works his tail off week in, week out. But this is Triple H's stepping stone to getting his title back, pure and simple. Is that what should happen? I'd buy into an Orton/Triple H main event at "WrestleMania." Or better yet, Orton, Trips and Jeff Hardy in a three-way match.
What Will Happen: Triple H will win the 2008 Royal Rumble...More?

Aaron Glazer compares the WWE superstars to their indy counterparts heading into the Royal Rumble:
Triple H
The likely winner and recipient of a super-push, Triple H spent a long while toiling in the midcard and will now return to the top of the card for his title.
Comparison - Besides Triple H's early success, he's similar to Nigel in the last year in that he did what was needed, stealing the show when he had to, and taking the spotlight when it was time… and even if you hate Hunter, it's likely the time...More?
