If Today's Media Covered The Crucifixion Of Jesus

Larry King sits across from a hastily convened panel, including Pat Robertson, Nancy Grace and oddly enough, Vince McMahon. They appear to be engaged in lively discussion before all falling silent as the camera focuses on Larry:

LARRY KING

Thank you for joining us for a special edition of Larry King Live. We have a lot to talk about on such a strange and momentous day, and so I won't waste your time introducing our panelists. So, let's just get to it, shall we? There is a man - well for now, let's assume he's a man - who was arrested in Jerusalem for claiming to be the son of God. Apparently there was some show trial and later today he is scheduled to be executed via crucifixion by local authorities. Your thoughts?

VINCE MCMAHON

Wait just a minute there, Larry. That's interesting, the King of Kings. Now, as everyone I'm sure knows, we have trademarked that phrase, King of Kings, for our worldwide famous superstar Triple H. I don't know who this Jesus character is...this Jesus character should feel lucky that the local authorities got to him before our attorneys...More?

Jim Ross Comments on Shane McMahon Not Appearing at WMXXVI Activities

From the Q&A section of J.R.'s blog:

bretra88 Asks:
JR - My question is, were you surprised that Shane McMahon was not at the Hall of Fame or Wrestlemania? I know he left the company a few months ago but I would have thought at least as a fan of the WWE and it's history, he would have been at the HOF. Is this a sign that he truly wanted out and away from the WWE completely? Thanks Tracey!

J.R.'s Answer:
I don't know what it is a sign of but Shane not being at WM26 activities wasn't a shocker.

It's Going To Be Hard For Us Too

Triple H...Career Maker?

Looking at Triple H’s past WrestleMania opponents you will notice something very interesting. Everyone Triple H has faced at WrestleMania were one of two things; a main event star, or a future main event star. Sure, there are guys like Rocky, Austin, Foley and Undertaker whom had already been established. But then there’s the other side of the coin. When you look at Chris Jericho (WM18), Booker T (WM19), Chris Benoit (WM20) and Batista (WM21) each of those guys have something in common: facing Triple H solidified them as a top guy; either by Hunter catapulting them or by them defeating Triple H.

Triple H’s past at WrestleMania clearly identifies one thing; WWE puts guys in with Triple H who are already a main event star or, whom they are looking to as their next main event star. Triple H’s reputation as a “career killer” is obviously inaccurate, based on what’s happened to a handful of his WrestleMania opponents. In fact, based on this record, Triple H is a career-maker, purely because of what happens to the guys he works with at WrestleMania...More?

Former WWE and WCW Wrestler Chris Kanyon Dead of an Apparent Suicide

Chris Kanyon (Christopher Klucsaritis) was found dead of an apparent suicide on Friday night. Although details are still sketchy, it is believed that he was in New York at the time of his death. A longtime friend reports that a pill bottle and several notes were found close to the body.

Kanyon also worked as the Mortis character in WCW and also had a run with WWE starting with the Invasion angle. He made headlines after his WWE run concluded by going public with his homosexuality. Although he retired from wresting at one point, he had returned to the ring again recently and worked a couple of matches this year.

Kanyon, along with "Above Average" Michael Sanders and Scott "Raven" Levy unsuccessfully sued the WWE claimed the organization cheated them out of health care and other benefits.
