The race between Democrat Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and Republican former WWE CEO Linda McMahon for U.S. Senate is getting tighter, indicating that it could be either candidate’s race when voters go to the polls in November.
A new Quinnipiac University poll shows Blumenthal in the lead, 51 to 45 percent, over McMahon. In January, Blumenthal led McMahon by 41 points – 64 percent to 23 percent -- but the wrestling exec, who has said she would spend up to $50 million in her own money, has been chipping away at his lead. In August, Blumenthal led by 10 points...More?

Raw Results: Raw is Ochocinco
Even his fellow Ohioans can hardly stomach The Miz. The United States Champion patted himself on the back before insulting Raw’s special guest star, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver and VH1 reality show star Chad Ochocinco.
As the two outspoken athletes traded barbs, Raw’s anonymous General Manager interrupted to reveal the stipulation Miz must compete in, as determined by the Raw Roulette Wheel: A Submission Match. Much to Miz’s chagrin, the GM then allowed Ochocinco to choose Mr. Money in the Bank’s opponent. Despite protests from Miz, you guessed it, the football player chose submission specialist Daniel Bryan. Full results.

RVD = Career Pissant
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that sees through RVD's bullsh*t. Mark Madden posted this on Wrestlezone.com:
Was Rob Van Dam EVER involved a big-money program? Not even close. For RVD to refer to himself as a “rock star” while belittling the older, “jealous” wrestlers in TNA was a gratuitous insult, and gratuitously delusional. What’s going on right now in TNA makes the end of WCW look like a Swiss watch. RVD = career pissant.

Rumor Mill - Matt Hardy Reportedly Sent Home From WWE’s Ongoing European Tour
Matt Hardy was sent home from World Wrestling Entertainment’s ongoing tour of Europe today, company sources have confirmed.
There was concern over Hardy’s condition backstage at yesterday’s SmackDown live event in Minehead, England.
This comes on the heels of an incident at last Sunday’s SmackDown live event in White Plains, New York where he was scheduled to team with R-Truth against Luke Gallows and CM Punk. Company sources indicate there was concern over his condition that day too. It is said that Hardy left the building after officials spoke to him and never returned for his match.
Hardy posted a peculiar message on his Twitter account late last night, writing: “Good Night Earth.. And remember, life is special.. http://bit.ly/bPRN8J Godspeed everyone.”

Christopher Daniels Comments on his return to Ring of Honor
"I think the thing that brought me back was the quality in the wrestling. It's never been disputed that the best wrestlers in the world are in this company. The spotlight's always been on them, as far as what's up and coming. I like to challenge myself and be on a show with the best wrestlers."...More?
