Real Championship Wrestling Man Up Results

Real Championship Wrestling returned to action this past Saturday with “Man Up” in Baltimore, Maryland for a benefit for the National Kidney Foundation.

“Man Up” was particular close to the heart of RCW star Derek Frazier as his youngest son has continued to deal with kidney disease since he was born. Last month, Christian York, after defeating Ruckus to end his RCW in-ring career, was challenged by Frazier to stand up for the honor of RCW and his family.

* In RCW’s opening contest, hometown hero Skull pulled off an amazing victory against Adam Cole via a small package
* After winning a #1 Contender Tournament to vie for the RCW Cruiserweight Title last month, Shiima Xion scored a spectacular submission victory against Steve Diaz
* The always entertaining Greg Excellent pinned Hallowicked
* Mia Yim and Jamilia Craft defeated Sara Del Ray/Daizee Haze
* Jay Briscoe vs. BLK OUT member “Blk Jeez” Sabian went to a 20 minute time limit draw
* After Drew Blood retired from wrestling, it left RCW Tag Team champion Devon Moore without a partner, but for “Man Up”, found one in Adam Cole. However, the funky fresh dance moves of The Osirian Portal aided them to defeat the duo of Moore and Cole to become the new RCW Tag Team champions
* In the hardest hitting match of the night, Mark Briscoe vs. Nick Gage went to a Double Disqualification, fighting all the way to the back and outside of the Du Burns Arena!
* In a battle for the respect of his family and RCW, Derek Frazier defeated RCW Heavyweight champion Christian York, the “New Mayor of Chocolate City”, in a non-title match.

After the main event, BLK OUT members Ruckus, Sabian, and Robby Mireno came out to award Derek Frazier the over $2500 raised for the National Kidney Foundation. However, Mireno announced he and BLK OUT were tired of Frazier and his sob stories and instead of handing Frazier the money, ended up kicking the living crap out of Frazier, referee Chris Clow, and ring announcer Larry Legend until members of the locker room and Commissioner Adam Flash drove BLK OUT to the back.

UFC Commentator Joe Rogan Blasts the NSAC Over MMA Judging: "A Few Very Good Judges Surrounded By Incompetent Morons"

UFC color commentator ripped the Nevada State Athletic Commission over the judging of MMA events during Saturday's Ultimate Fighter finale event. "It's gross," Rogan said following a highly questionable call in the opening fight of the Spike TV broadcast. "You should be able to leave it in the hands of the judges. You should be able to just fight.

"And we should point out that that is the situation because of the Nevada State Athletic Commission. That's what it is. It has nothing to do with the UFC. People keep saying, 'Oh, the UFC is corrupt.' We have no say whatsoever in who judges these fights. (Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director) Keith Kizer has denied that there's an issue. I think there's a huge, huge issue, and I think he needs to clean house.

"There's a few very good judges surrounded by a bunch of incompetent morons that know absolutely nothing about the sport, and they've got to do something about that because it's ruining MMA, and it's making people think that this sport is corrupt. And it has nothing to do with corruption, it's sheer, complete, total incompetence. So, folks, send emails, get online
, write blogs, do what you've got to do. We can't do anything."

Memorial Show, Special Belt Celebrate Memory of Adam Dykes

Just over a year has passed since the suicide of Adam Dykes, who wrestled as Adam Firestorm and The Torch. A memorial show on Friday keeps his memory alive, as does the Adam Firestorm Memorial Championship Belt, believed to be the only belt of its kind in existence.

The belt, handcrafted and designed by Dave Millican and his expert belt-making team, features a full portrait of Firestorm's alter-ego, The Torch, his mask, both the New Zealand and Canadian flags as well as the dates of his birth and his passing. It is indeed a rare memorial, definitely a one-of-a-kind creation...More?

Paul Heyman made his exit from World Wrestling Entertainment. Heyman was sent home from a Raw/ECW taping in North Carolina following a meeting with Vince McMahon, one day after the disastrous ECW December To Dismember Pay-per-view. Heyman was removed from the ECW Creative team, while a storyline reason for his departure was posted on WWE.com, stating Vince sent him home because: "The WWE Chairman cited slumping television ratings and a disgruntled talent roster as causes for Mr. Heyman's dismissal." Heyman had been portraying the heel "ECW Representative" on television.

The backstage story was that Vince McMahon was irate about how awful the PPV was and wanted to pin the blame on Heyman for it, despite many feeling that the poor PPV (which ended a half hour early) was the result of what the McMahons (Vince and Stephanie) booked for the show. Heyman was said to be unhappy with the way that the PPV was booked and backstage sources claim he voiced that concern both before the show began and after it. It was obvious that there were issues between Vince McMahon and Heyman because of the how the show played out on PPV, with everyone knowing it was a disaster.

A number of sources stated that a meeting was held around two o'clock with Heyman, Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon-Levesque. Heyman came out of the meeting and seemed like his normal self, with no one realizing what had just taken place. Shortly thereafter, Heyman gathered his things and left the building to go home.

SmackDown Results: Trifecta of Torture

With the abducted Paul Bearer still missing, World Heavyweight Champion Kane battled The Rated-R Superstar to determine who would pick the stipulation in their World Title Match at WWE TLC.

When a screaming Paul Bearer appeared on the TitanTron, Kane had to choose whether to seek out his father and potentially lose by count-out, or return to the ring and try to finish off his war-torn No. 1 contender. Making the decision to finish the match, he soon found himself summarily Speared by The Ultimate Opportunist for the loss. Full results.
