Rumor Mill - Cris "Cyborg" Santos Reportedly in Negotiations with WWE
Without fighting since June of 2010, Cyborg is getting tired of the lack of fights in the MMA organization, and this proposal would change her future in fighting – and get bigger paychecks. Two weeks ago, Cristiane and her husband, Strikeforce fighter Evangelista Santos, attended to a WWE event in California, and the managers of the event offered her a contract.

WWE Superstars Results: Wrecking the Party
Something must have lit a fire under Chris Masters recently, because the big man has been simply dominant in recent weeks. After scoring two major victories over the destructive Tyler Reks in recent weeks, The Masterpiece continued his winning streak by overpowering the arrogant Curt Hawkins and putting him away with The Master Lock. The powerhouse’s celebration was short-lived, however. Without warning, Reks stormed the ring and nailed Masters with a debilitating Burning Hammer. Clearly, the rivalry between these two titans is far from over. Full results.

Secretary of State Clinton Slams Pro Wrestling for Being Anti-American
According to an article by The Washington Post, U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Rodham Clinton said Wednesday that the country is losing a "public relations battle" to things like the former popular "Baywatch" TV show and pro wrestling.
While Hollywood movies and television are pervasive around the world, they mostly serve to worsen the distortion, Clinton said. She recalled meeting an Afghan general whose impressions of Americans had been informed entirely by popular TV shows such as "Baywatch" and pro wrestling.
"We are in an information war, and we're losing that war. The only thing he thought about Americans was that all the men wrestled and the women walked around in bikinis. Most people still get their news from TV and radio."...More?

Triple H Comments on Sleepovers at Vince McMahon's House, Acting, and Says Wrestling Has Made Him Very Rich
Triple H told the New York Post that Vince and Linda McMahon are great grandparents. "Both McMahons love the grandchildren," Hunter said. "Come around all the time. Take them to school. Their house even has sleepovers. I did appearances and campaign rallies for my mother-in-law. She's great and staying politically involved. (Joe) Lieberman's not running again so she can try once more in 2012."
Hunter also spoke about his move to acting. "I'm also a WWE executive," Hunter said. "I'm a wrestling fan. As a boy I watched it on TV with my father. At 20, I met a guy and the rest is history. Right away you get a flashy trick name so you're a superhero come to life. Nobody pays $20 to see his next-door neighbor.
"Wrestling's made me rich. Very. But everyone's surprised that a wrestler can be not only talented but also articulate. Listen, we're theater actors. Bad guy versus good guy. It's a show. We're onstage telling a story through our actions." To read the full story, visit NYPost.com.
