Maryland Championship Wrestling isn't afriad of letting female performers hook 'em up in the ring.
The independent promotion looks to bring serious female wrestling matches to the forefront of their oranzation with local wrestlers like Jessie Kaye and Candie and up-and-coming regional in-ring talent like Aida Marie and Arlene.
MCW is even home to most likely the only female wrestling referee currently working the indy circuit in Tonya Stevens...More?

Urban Wrestling Federation's Debut Event and PPV Taping Results
This Day in Wrestling History
Kerry Von Erich is involved in a motorcycle accident in Argyle, Texas, crashing into the back of a police car while trying to pass a truck on a two-lane highway while wearing shorts and no shoes. Von Erich suffers a dislocated hip and a severely damaged right foot and undergoes over 13 hours of surgery. Von Erich would later have the foot amputated, but returned to the ring with a prosthetic foot and continued his career. To this day, there is no definitive answer as to whether Von Erich lost the foot at the time of the initial surgery, or had it amputated later (with some even saying it was removed after a failed early comeback attempt did further damage to it). Von Erich and his family would claim he had his ankle fused to account for the lack of mobility in the foot, and it was not until after his death that his family would admit that he was wrestling without a foot (although in one Las Vegas match, his boot was pulled off accidentally, and several fans saw that he had no foot).

A Peek at WWE New Hire Matt Justice
Road Dogg Comments On R-Truth
"If you ask me, the WWE is about ten years too late. They had this guy ten or twelve years ago. I actually kind of recruited him to be my tag team partner cause Billy (Gunn) had just blown his shoulder out and was gonna have surgery and he was gonna be out for a year. I saw Ron Killings perform in Memphis when I was on break from WWF at the time and I saw him perform and I just thought ‘Man, this guy is great’. I saw something in him…and the next thing I know, we were tagging together."
"I know they switched it up a little bit and turned him heel and it’s working for him man, so I say you work it girl….he’s doing great. I don’t follow the show as closely as I probably should, but I do turn over when I hear my brothers reffing or Ronnie Killings is on. I love to watch him work, he’s a great athlete, he looks great, he’s a great guy and I love him. Nothing but love for Ronnie Killings."

Blast From The Past: WWE vs Denver Nuggets Vince McMahon and The Game Speak Out
Update on Averno and Sin Cara
The belief is that Averno will come into WWE without his mask and one name thrown around for him is Rey Ortiz II.
Regarding Cara, there was concern about him after his pay-per-view match against Chavo Guerrero but WWE officials are determined to make him work because he has been promoted as the first talent brought on by Triple H. There has always been skepticism of Cara's inability to speak English and right now, he's mainly communicating through one of the WWE referees who is bi-lingual.

Eric Bischoff: "IWC Smarks Need To Get Over It"
Eric Bischoff via Twitter on anti-TNA sentiment on the internet:
"Seems like 90% of the audience loves what the loudest 10% hates. So who really matters? The 10%er's can't get over the fact that they are irrelevant. Ratings don't lie. Research doesn't lie. IWC smarks need to get over it."
