After months away from Raw recuperating from an injury suffered at the hands of Sheamus, Triple H has returned with renewed determination. The Cerebral Assassin explained to the WWE Universe that, although he has accomplished an enormous amount in WWE, he has yet to enjoy an unadulterated WrestleMania moment, one not overshadowed by other Superstars. Were he to defeat The Undertaker and put an end to The Deadman’s undefeated streak at The Show of Shows, then, and only then, could he experience such a moment.
After The King of Kings’ speech, the man who hobbled him months earlier paid a visit. King Sheamus interrupted and swaggered up to Triple H. It was unclear precisely what the Irishman expected, but what he received instead was a long overdue Pedigree through an announce table. Time to “pay” The Game, indeed. Full results.

Stone Cold Gives an Update on 'Tough Enough'
Chris Jericho Comments on TNA's 3-3-11 Video: "It's just so bush league"
TNA had hyped the "most shocking moment of the year" - and delivered a weak ripoff of WWE's recent 2/21/11 videos. Here's what Chris Jericho said about the 3/3/11 video and why its a perfect example of whats wrong with TNA:
'It drives me nuts and I'll tell you the reason why. I am the biggest fan of TNA as a concept. I want them to be huge, Vince wants them to be huge because the more competition there is, it's better for the business, it's better for the boys, it's better is for the fans. I don't understand their obsession with copying the WWE I think it's lame, I think its bush league and I don't get it, they have some of the best talent, some great idea men. Why do they do this? Why do their guys go out there and say 'When I was in the WWE I was left behind and I was held back'."
"If I was working for TNA I would project that it's the greatest wrestling company in the world because if you're not projecting it, why is anyone going to believe it? When we were in ECW it was small, I never made more than $250 a show but you would die for that company and when you came across that way, the fans came across that way and suddenly you have this underground revolution going on and it was real, it was a revolution, people believed it was the best. No one in TNA believes they are in the best company and if they don't believe it then why am I going to believe it as a fan? Why am I going to buy their product?"
"It's just so bush league, they can do better than that and the guys on top there should know better and it really makes me mad because they're wasting money and they don't have to be wasting money but I'm not burying TNA I'm saying you should be ashamed of yourself because you can do better."

The Honky Tonk Man Rips Into Hulk Hogan
The Honky Tonk Man posted the following blog on his facebook in which he ripped into Hulk Hogan and noted a top TNA player has left and is returning to WWE:
"You guys keep asking what's the issue with Hogan. Here's the deal. Hogan is in a back brace and without it he is on a walker as an old crippled dogshit of a man who could only be found with his feet in Lard Ass Bubba's ass. You ask why HTM doesn't like Hogan?
Jeff Jarrett approached HTM for a TNA merchandise deal in 2010 and "sent" a contract. Contract never came. HTM signs with WWE & Mattel. The same time, Hogan and Bischoff join TNA and Bischoff publicly insults HTM. HTM is called up for the "Hogan & Friends Tour", went to the show and had a great event with the boys and the fans. HTM and Jimmy Hart spend hours setting up the show, spots etc. HTM and his web team promote "Hulk and Friends" everywhere which Hogan's agent praised and admitted none of the other stars did! Bubba the lard sponge calls out HTM on his radio show so HTM posted a video owning Bubba in retaliation. Hogan goes off without seeing the facts and HTM is off the tour.
HTM went to Hogan's room on the Hogan & Friends tour and spent hours talking to Hogan. Hogan was nice to HTM's face. That's the deal with Hogan. That's always the deal with Hulk Hogan. Ask Vince McMahon or Randy Savage.Hogan is a walking dead because he went with that travelling door to door meat salesman Bischoff instead of hanging with the guys who stood beside him and once again turned on WWE. McMahon's done with Hogan and WWE have no interest in his dead ass. They put over Hogan, built him up as Babe Ruth and he spat in their face. Hogan was due to wrestle John Cena at a recent past WrestleMania but couldn't commit due to his health issues then announces at Vince's backyard MSG that he's signed with TNA. Now after taking TNA nowhere Hogan's had to take a pay cut with TNA and mark my words within 6 months he'll be gone.
What is WWE going to do with a free agent crippled Hulk Hogan? Nothing. They own the entire back catalogue, anything of worth they have. Hogan has his chance to be the Babe Ruth of WWE and spat in their face. He demands top money from Vince and has nothing in return to offer.Hogan's "Hulk & Friends" Tour is dead in the water. Events were cancelled due to poor ticket sales and performance and Hogan's $100k fee demand while paying his fellow boys $3k.
THQ recently signed Hogan to WWE Allstars as his contract allows for outside licensing which is a slap in the face to TNA. Would McMahon let any WWE star sign a TNA merchandise deal? How is that taking "the company to the next level" Brother!.
The guys in the back have no respect for Hogan and Nash is laughing his ass off now that Hogan is broke and Nash is back as a player.
A major TNA backstage player has bolted TNA for WWE, someone close to Hogan which has left Hogan reeling. More on that to come..
Hulkamania killed itself.

Shawn Michaels Comments on Triple H vs. The Undertaker & Who's Inducting Him in the HOF
Shawn Michaels was interviewed by WDFN.com this week and talked about WrestleMania 27, the WWE Hall of Fame and more. Shawn said that as of now, he's not aware of plans for him to be involved in the Triple H vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania and feels the match doesn't need him. Shawn said:
"I've heard all the rumors. As of right now, I'm doing one thing and one thing only at WrestleMania, and that's the Hall of Fame.
I don't think The Undertaker and Triple H need Shawn Michaels to deliver a spectacular match or make this incredibly interesting. Those two can do that on their own. Right now, as far as I'm concerned, I'm going to be there watching it like everyone else."
Shawn said he hasn't decided yet who will induct him into the Hall of Fame this year but mentioned names like Triple H, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman and others. Shawn said it's a decision he will have to make pretty quick.

WrestleMania XXVII Preview: The Undertaker vs. Triple H
The time has arrived. After weeks of high anticipation comes an epic battle years in the making. A resurrected Triple H will face off against The Undertaker in a clash of WWE titans at WrestleMania XXVII.
Weeks of a campaign filled with ominous “2.21.11” imagery finally culminated on February 21st when the two Superstars met in the ring on Raw after each had spent months recuperating from injury. Although no words were spoken, the men reached a tacit agreement to compete against one another at The Show of Shows.
Precisely 10 years ago, the two respected and feared Superstars squared off on The Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania X-Seven. During that contest, the action spilled outside the ring in a memorable display of power and determination. In the end, The Demon of Death Valley prevailed by pinfall.
Despite their legendary status, each man goes into the match with something to prove, having suffered major setbacks in 2010. The Game had been sidelined for 10 months after King Sheamus ambushed him at Extreme Rules while The Demon of Death Valley was waylaid by his brother Kane during a Buried Alive Match at WWE Bragging Rights.
In order for The Cerebral Assassin to overcome The Deadman, he’ll first need to negate the psychological advantage of his opponent. After all, The Undertaker’s famous win streak at WrestleMania hit 18-0 last year, and the list of his fallen foes remains littered with renowned Superstars, including Randy Orton, Edge and more recently, Shawn Michaels.
Not only did The Phenom defeat HBK two WrestleMania’s in a row, he ended the man’s career. A fact certainly not lost on Michaels’ close friend, Triple H, who may well use the misfortune as a motivator.
For his part, The Game also possesses a list of enviable accomplishments. Not only is he a former King of the Ring, Triple H has also reigned an incredible five times as World Heavyweight Champion and eight times as WWE Champion. Despite all the accolades, though, he has never beaten The Undertaker at WrestleMania, a feat only a Superstar of Triple H’s caliber could achieve.
With both powerhouses eager to prove to the world that they are now running on all cylinders, the match will prove to be both a test of wills as well as strength.

SmackDown Results: You're Excused
Vickie Guerrero took part in the second SmackDown Mixed Tag Team Match in three weeks, knowing that if she and her partner Drew McIntyre lost, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long would fire her as the show's Official Consultant.
When Vickie stood in Edge’s way as he was about to Spear McIntyre in the climatic moments of the match, Kelly Kelly took her down with The Master Manipulator’s signature maneuver. The Ultimate Opportunist then followed suit, Spearing the "Chosen One" to seal his ex-wife’s fate.
After a jubilant Teddy Long fired his Official Consultant, an hysterical Vickie pledged with everyone she could to keep her job, including Edge himself. This prompted the 11-time World Champion to lead the WWE Universe in another rendition of “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye.” However, as The Rated-R Superstar watched Vickie walk off in disgrace, his WrestleMania No. 1 contender Alberto Del Rio attacked him, locking him in his vicious cross armbreaker. Hulk Hogan Criticizes The Rock's WWE Return
TNA star Hulk Hogan recently did an interview with Peter Rosenberg of HOT 97 FM. Hogan hyped the Impact taping in Fayetteville, NC being held tonight, and had the following to say concerning The Rock's return to WWE:
"That is one of the reasons me and Vince McMahon don't get along because we disagree on wrestling theory. He's a genius. He has done a great job keeping the business alive and keeping it rolling."
When asked if there was something Hogan didn't like about Rock's return: "Yeah, yeah. There is certain ways to do things. You know, for The Rock to come out and say, we've gone from Austin 3:16 to The People's Champion to all of a sudden, you can't see me (in whiny voice). They spent so much time building John Cena up. If it was me I would have said, from the Austin era to The People's Champion era to John Cena. And I just gotta know in my heart whose the better man. There is a way to really build somebody up. You know.
All of a sudden in three or four seconds he had the whole arena screaming that Cena sucks. Sometimes I just don't understand the philosophy because John Cena is going to be there all the time. And even though The Rock said he was back, he was only back for one day. He isn't going to be there wrestling every single week like John Cena is, you know, holding it down and keeping it real. All that stuff is scripted, they have Stephanie McMahon and writers telling The Rock exactly what to say. I just didn't understand why they wanted to destroy Cena so quickly.".
You can listen to the full interview here.
To paraphrase Triple H, it is easier to get attention if your trash talk a current and relevant star.

Triple H Movie News
The Chaperone with Triple H did a little under $15,000 during it’s limited release run last weekend in theaters. That’s according to WWE’s own internal estimate that we obtained through a well-placed source. The film played in just 10 theaters in major cities across the country. It’s part of WWE’s new marketing strategy which essentially is a smart way for the company to save on advertising costs by running just one campaign. The real gravy is the DVD which goes on sale on March 8th.

WWE Fans Pick Triple H Over Undertaker In “2.21.11″ Battle
WWE’s blueprint for the Triple H-Undertaker WrestleMania feud has yet to unfold, but as far as the fans at the live Fresno, California edition of Monday Night RAW are concerned, Triple H is the bigger babyface.
According to multiple correspondent reports, both HHH and Taker received admirable, favorable reactions from the live crowd, but the pop for Triple H’s surprise return far exceeded that of The Undertaker.
The disparity in pop can certainly be explained without resorting to popularity; in addition to the fact that Triple H has been away from television for longer, The Undertaker’s return was effectively “spoiled” by the “2-21-11″ campaign. The element of surprise certainly worked in favor of Triple H.
At the same time, the crowd reaction for HHH, which sources say easily eclipsed that for any Superstar on the show, clearly suggests that he has his fanbase. Though there is a vast anti-Triple H sentiment within the online wrestling community, it is consistently shown that the “WWE Universe,” on the whole, still views Triple H as a top star.

Triple H Confronts The Undertaker
After several long weeks, the WWE Universe finally discovered the meaning behind the cryptic “2.21.11” signs. Both The Undertaker and Triple H emerged from months of recuperation to stun everyone. The two goliath Superstars said not a word when they stood toe-to-toe in the center of the ring. Instead, they each acknowledged the WrestleMania sign hanging in the arena and appeared to offer a tacit agreement to face off on The Grandest Stage of Them All on April 3 in Atlanta. Let the battle begin!

Chris Jericho Comments on Writing About Vince McMahon & Triple H: "I Wanted to Make Sure They Each Knew"
Chris Jericho's new book Undisputed, is not a WWE-sanctioned affair, so Jericho has freedom to discuss what he wanted.
Jericho is frequently critical of McMahon himself, but stresses that even if the book was published under the WWE banner the boss would not have censored criticisms of himself at all.
He explained: "I talked to Vince about it and Triple H too. I had a lot of confrontations with him when I first started, but it worked out.
"I think it was one of the reasons why WWE in the early 2000s was so exciting because there were a lot of guys rubbing each other up the wrong way personally, which led to them being better professionally.
"I said I was telling stories the way I remember them and it wasn't always rosy. Both of them were like, 'Well, that's life. Good for you. Go for it'. I wanted to make sure they each knew."

Rumor Mill - Backstage Tension in TNA, Heat on Top Knockout
Although it started out as an internet rumor, there appears to be some legitimate heat on TNA Knockout Mickie James after she raved on Twitter about The Rock's return to "Monday Night Raw."
Mickie tweeted, "Finally getting a chance to catch up on @TheRock's charismatic return... Literally got chills... & remembered why I do... What I do!"
The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson responded, "Thank u MJ..we're blessed to be able to perform..keep kickin ass and being diverse in your career...I dig your music... I always admire diversity..takes guts..especially in country..if u sing jamey johnson for me I'll come get that tooth..:)"
While TNA President Dixie Carter is said not to be offended by the tweet, a lot of TNA locker room members felt Mickie, a long time WWE Womens Champion, should be promoting TNA on Twitter, and not glowing about WWE's latest angle.
"We're having a hard enough time keeping anyone's attention during Wrestlemania season," one prominent TNA wrestler told WrestleZone over the weekend, "we have Kurt Angle's entire personal life, including his relationship with his children, playing out on TV to get a .1 boost in the numbers. Mickie should be a locker room leader, and should know better. Instead, she just makes it seem like she's longing to go to back to WWE."
Our source also says TNA management is "obsessed" regarding WWE swiping Kevin Nash and Booker T from right underneath TNA's big "Main Event Mafia Reunion."
The source says things are "as tense as I've ever seen it" in TNA at the moment.

Triple H's Movie Fails to Register at Box Office
WWE Studios' The Chaperone starring Triple H drew virtually no business during its 'limited engagement' this weekend.
BoxOfficeMojo.com's chart listing the top grossing films for the weekend of February 18-20, with the bottom movie making $1,670 in one theater, did not rank the The Chaperone. Furthermore, the bottom five movies played in less theaters than the WWE produced film — ten.

The best thing I can do is to stay retired, because nobody ever stays retired. I’ll still be part of the company. You never really get out of the WWE unless you’re wearing concrete shoes at the bottom of the Hudson River, but no more active wrestling."

Former Chicago Bears Safety Dave Duerson Death Ruled a Suicide; Donates Brain for Concussion Research
The death of former Chicago Bears safety Dave Duerson was ruled a suicide by the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner, WMAQ-TV in Chicago reported Saturday. Duerson was found dead Thursday night at his home in Miami. The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner said he died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
In a text message he sent to loved ones before his death, Duerson asked that his brain, particularly the "left side," be left for NFL researchers who study chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a degenerative disease common to boxers, football players and others who experience multiple concussions and head injuries.
"NFL players are at high risk for CTE," said Chris Nowinski, co-director of the Center for the Study of Traumatic Encephalopathy at Boston University School of Medicine.
Nowinski said Duerson donating his brain for study was "an incredible selfless contribution to medical research."...More?

Triple H Comments on his New Position with WWE
"I'm making a transition into the office, trying to keep growing the business. It's a young man's sport, a young man's business–or however you want to look at it–and I want to help create new stars and help new guys become the future of this business and help create the next level of Shawn Michaels and the Triple Hs and the Undertakers and those guys. I want to help usher in that new era and bring this company, as big as it is, to a place that is much bigger."

Colonelscrypt Interviews Triple H
CC: Of course, for 15 years every week we've seen you as Triple H but today I'm talking to you as Paul Levesque. Being that we're so familiar with the Triple H character, is there something that Triple H fans would be surprised to know about Paul Levesque?
HHH: Well I got three little girls at home so at some point one of them has painted my toenails or put my hair in a ponytail.
CC: What's been the toughest part of being a father?
HHH: It hasn't come yet. They're not in their teenage years yet. I've got a two and a half year old that I took to a birthday party and she's dancing with a little boy. I'm thinking to myself "Great, she's starting already." Right now they're very sweet little girls. There's going to be a time where I'll go from being the greatest daddy on the planet to the dumb guy that lives in the house who can't do anything right. That might be coming...More?

Ariel Winter Comments on Triple H
Actress Ariel Winter, who appeared on RAW last Monday and stars in The Chaperone, told Star Magazine that she did her own stunts in the movie. Regarding Triple H, she said: "I had an amazing bond with Triple H, he's like my second Dad."
Critics Review WWE's "The Chaperone" with Triple H, Opening Today
WWE Studios' The Chaperone with Triple H hits theaters today on a limited release. Here are some reviews on the movie. Currently on RottenTomatoes.com, the movie has a "rotten" rating of 25% with a 3.1 out of 10 average rating, based on 12 reviews.
Variety: "Presumably there's an audience out there for old-fashioned, poorly written, unevenly thesped, family-friendly tales of redemption starring beefy wrestlers and a bunch of kids, but it's difficult to imagine who."
Hollywood Reporter: "This lame WWE produced family comedy isn't likely to turn wrestling star Paul "Triple H" Levesque into a household name."
Los Angeles Times: "Like last year's "Legendary" and "Knucklehead," which didn't exactly slam moviegoers to the mat with their entertainment chops, this haphazardly clichéd comedy-drama about redemption similarly suffers."
Filmcritic.com: "If WWE is going to continue to insist on placing its stars in ill-fitting projects like this, the least it could do is spring for some livelier material."
Roger Moore: "As funny as these guys can be when they work themselves into a purple-faced rage yelling at the TV camera, none of the current generation of wrestler-actors seem to have the charisma or comic gifts of a Hulk Hogan or Dwayne Johnson."
New York Observer: "As long as the poker-faced "Triple H" is the centerpiece, The Chaperone is not without moments of genuine sweetness. Best of all, he is the most unpretentious and least flamboyant human juggernaut to ever hit the screen."
New York Post: "Stephen Herek's "The Chaperone" is dreadful enough to make you wish Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was still making family movies. Wrestling champ Paul "Triple H" Levesque is a fairly painless screen presence, but his taste in scripts may be even worse than former WWE colleague Johnson's."

WWE Superstars Results: Cobra Commanders
WWE Tag Team Champions Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov returned to “WWE Superstars” for the first time in 2011 to take on one of WWE’s hottest new tag teams, Zack Ryder & Primo. Marella’s patented Cobra emerged early – a possible scare tactic against Long Island Iced-Z and the newly-named “Primo Colada.” Sambo master Kozlov repeatedly used his body as a weapon, giving his team the upper hand throughout the match. After a brutal double-clothesline from The Moscow Mauler, Marella hit the Cobra on Primo and pinned him for the win, much to the WWE Universe’s delight. Full results.

IGN Talks To WWE's King of Kings About "The Chaperone"
What Ray Lewis and Triple H Have In Common
Coming in at No.5 was Lewis and Triple H.
Triple H has tried his hand at acting, he is a world champion and I must say both Ray and “The Game” know how to make an entrance. But Rank points to a different similarity.
“Triple H is known as ‘The Game.’ He is the king of kings, and he calls all of the shots,” wrote Rank. “And while Lewis might not be married to the boss’s daughter, he certainly carries that kind of respect with every NFL player.”

Triple H Comments on WWE Studios, Being a Role Model, More
Seven years after co-starring in the comic book threequel Blade: Trinity, Paul "Triple H" Levesque is back in movie theaters with WWE Studios' latest, The Chaperone, a very different film that what one might expect from wrestling's perennial tough guy. Directed by Stephen Herek of The Mighty Ducks, Mr. Holland's Opus and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, the film has Levesque playing an ex-convict who tries to reconnect with his young daughter, played by Ariel Winter of "Modern Family," after getting out of prison while avoiding the temptations of his previous life of crime. It's a movie that's partially a comedy but also a rather touching emotional journey that might actually be enjoyed as much by parents as kids who have absolutely no interest in wrestling whatsoever.
ComingSoon.net had an interesting sit-down with the wrestling superstar to talk about the movie, and we found him to be a thoughtful and intelligent interview subject who not only talked about making the movie but also his overall career and his thoughts on what it means to be a "role model."...More?

Good Review for 'The Chaperone'
In the bank robbery business, a "wheel man" is a skilled driver of getaway cars whose services are in great demand. An uneven but surprisingly pleasing and often entertaining low-budget indie-prod called The Chaperone is about an accidental wheel man named Ray Bradstone who lost his freedom, family and self-respect in a heist that landed him seven years in prison. Now he's out and determined to make amends, pay his debt to society and start fresh. Ray heads home to his well-kept brick house in the neatly manicured suburbs to catch up with his wife, who wants him to turn around and leave, and his embarrassed, ashamed and hostile daughter, who just wants him to drop dead. The movie is about the comical, cultural and criminal repercussions when Ray signs on as a chaperone on his daughter's junior-high classroom field trip to New Orleans. Here's the big surprise: Ray is played by 13-time world championship wrestling superstar Paul"Triple H" Levesque. And he ain't bad.
With his massive center-ring frame, Mr. Levesque takes up most of the screen's dimensions, but he has an appealing gentle-giant way with kids, and can say a dramatic line with unexpected tenderness.
Mr. Levesque has chosen a role with warmth, range and sensitivity, and even sings a few bars of the Fred Astaire classic "Pick Yourself Up." When the kids take over, the movie gets sloppy. But as long as the poker-faced "Triple H" is the centerpiece, The Chaperone is not without moments of genuine sweetness. Best of all, he is the most unpretentious and least flamboyant human juggernaut to ever hit the screen. Think Arnold Schwarzenegger in Kindergarten Cop, but better...More?

Triple H Dishes on WWE's 'The Chaperone'
“What we do is tell stories, and then we have this marketing machine behind it. But the heart of it is just storytelling, and that’s really what making movies comes down to,” said the wrestler, who’s also an executive advisor at the company and McMahon’s son-in-law.
Levesque attributes WWE Studios’ burgeoning popularity in part to its streamlined production process, taking such approaches as shooting all its movies in the New Orleans area to benefit from Louisiana’s optimal tax breaks and the utilization of the same production crew.
“We’re throwing the Hollywood template on its ear a little bit,” Levesque said. “Making these movies back to back, saving money on the cost of making them, shrinking the DVD window to allow us to only have to spend one sum on promotion and recoup faster — it’s a different way of doing things, but we think it will hopefully be a better way.”...More?
