The release of referee Wes Adams is rumored to be the botched ending on ECW last Tuesday. If you were paying close attention you'll notice that Adams made the count at the wrong moment. The reactions of all the wrestlers and announcers gave away that it wasn't supposed to happen. It occurred after hardy hit a top rope side effect on Morrison and waited several seconds before even making the cover.
